Maple bacon is so good. But yes you really need a legit maple syrup and a good quality bacon that's nice and salty to get that salty/sweet addictive bite. Like kettle corn or salted caramel.

@@dcd05 originally it was just chocolate cake made from pure cocoa, it had a slight red hue to it. Over the yeras some people have tweaked the recipe and some use cocao and coloring and others use just coloring.

Meat from wild animals like deer or wild boar, that comes with a slightly bitter taste) with sweet fruit. But I think candied meat is on another level 😂 I tried honey glazed ribs once and it felt wrong to me

I generally don't think any other country loves bacon as much as you guys 😮 I'm from Germany, and I probably did not eat bacon more than 5 times my whole life (I'm 24). We also don't eat Mac and Cheese or Pb&J here, those are things I only know from TV and the internet.

the donut itself adds another flavour which throws it off. so instead of [mint + choc] or [mint + choc + cream], its [mint + choc + yeasted bread + oil]. plus if the donut itself had cocoa powder in it, the chocolate would have a very diluted or powdery flavour.

There’s a local donut shop that does maple bacon donuts and they are actually so good. Maple donuts are my favorite and there’s a perfectly cooked thin crispy bacon on top. Honestly the best donut I’ve ever had.

As an east coast southern woman. That maple bacon donut review is null and void because that donut definitely needed more bacon.😅

@@angmoulton8528 most donut shops have a plain maple, and you can add your own bacon on top lol. I went to a donut shop in Richmond VA that sold maple bacon donuts tho!

I love bacon and maple donuts! It’s like when you put syrup on your pancakes and a little gets on your bacon. It’s so good!

As a midwesterner (Indiana), maple bacon donuts are pretty common and they're legit my fav😭🖤
