I lived in the Sandia Park/Tijeras area 20 years ago, it’s beautiful, the snow was never that big of an issue. The real problem is the water situation, as more people have moved in and companies have bought up water rights, wells are going dry, it’s only getting worse. I’ll never move back, even though I love it.

Quit the Bs ABQ ain't that bad, I moved to North valley a month ago and haven't had any issues, and all the locals I work with have zero issues either. Quit pandering blood sells in the news. It's the biggest city in the state. We have cheap rent, free public transportation, amazing programs for first time home buyers with bad credit, cheap land, every big city has crime, matter of fact stay out so our prices never go up lmao

Lots of inaccurate information. Your topic is about where not to move and you have not mentioned the South East and International District. Nobody thinks of East Mountain when moving and South West which you talked more in detail is not a bad neighborhood. Depending on the particular community, those without HOA are bad and their front yard is like a trash but those with HOA whose HOA has nothing to do but to look for violations, the community is clean. There are also gated communities which are safe. It is affordable but the houses are tract houses which were made of construction grade materials.

Hey thanks for watching the video. Believe it or not, most people who reached out ask us about these areas. The east mountains is usually the number one area we always get asked about. The South West isn’t a bad neighborhood, we sell homes in that area all the time. (I actually grew up there and love it) it is affordable and all depending on what community you’re interested in you can find a really good home for an affordable price. 😎

What is the name of that really big Latino market on Central close to old town. I swear that was yhe biggest latino supermarket i have ever seen. I didn't eat there but the prices were good. I live in Seattle and want to move there for the space vs here. Its insanely crowded here. I like to live in Old town if i could. Or SW of the city.

These neighborhoods are all totally car dependent. It’s unfortunate that new construction always embraces this model.

Hey thanks for watching the channel! I don't know if it's totally car dependent to be honest. Would a four wheel drive vehicle be a good idea to own? Certainly but it's not needed.

None of ABQ is car dependant, we have free buses everywhere, and monthly passes for train. You can walk pretty much anywhere in less than 30 minutes
