Great to see Barney on the job - an absolute asset to the business. Mud is amazing in all its forms and allows the grading bucket to shine. Time lapse good and camera angles fantastic.

This is what I really dig (no pun) about Chris's channel. Bear Bones hard work and consistent content. Not at all like some excavator content channels. Some folks like to go all Hollywood and try to jazz it up, fancy graphics and crap. Chris stays true to his work ethic. I freaking respect that.

I was concerned you were going to loose the excavator in the muck. Nice maneuvering out of that mess. Barney sure can haul and dump a load. Great fit for your off road hauling

back in the 50's, my grandfather had the state (Texas) come on our family farm and dig a flood control pond. I didn't watch the whole thing, but they used a scraper to dig it out and then just dumped that to build the dam. The pond was, as you described, very steep at the dam into the water, and was about 12 feet deep in the middle. Eventually, the top of the dam wore down to the point you could hardly driver over it.

I could watch those speeded up segments all day. Thanks

Having Barney is going to be sweet.

When I was a kid my neighbor had a business putting in sanitary and storm sewers so he had a bunch of big toys. He used to take me to work once in a while. Nothing made my little boy day more than spending it in a track hoe or on a big dozer. Chris does a great job giving me that experience many years later. I almost feel like I'm there.

Larson Farms use 3 inch to wash out tracks on quad track tractors works well except operator gets wet !!

Of all the different kinds of trees you take down, you can never, ever take down enough gum trees. Nasty things.

I somehow missed this one in this pond series but must say, the old girl looks like she''ll turn out to be a worthwhile addition. Certainly sounds good, eh? Didn't see a tire squat (good call on the choice to buy with tires in such good shape) and with most of those major bugs worked out, the truck will save a bit of tracking about. It may look rough around the edges but with your eye toward maintenance and taking care of the important issues, I bet it'll serve you well for quite some time to come.

Please keep doing what you're doing...you have NO idea how much enjoyment you give me when I can watch one of your videos....thank you

Honestly, I was waiting for Chris to "BEEP" to let the driver know he was loaded. LOL I bet t hey did dig that pond with a dragline as Chris thought. All the dirt for the original dam came out of that deep hole. I haven't seen a dragline operating in a long time.
