I woke up singing this old fav song by Donny & Marie... Both my older sister, 57yrs passed away recently during the Covid lockdown while living in Ozzie & this song brings back good memories of us singing this song & watching the OSMONDS on TV. So for me today is Osmond day. Amazing musical family foreva classic for me...& I miss my big sista...

Say what you want about Donny and Marie and I'm sure their are a lot of people who think of them as nothing but a bunch ofl "FLUFF" but these guys can actually sing their A**es off and for that I give them all the credit in the world 👏👏👏

@petegarza2025.I'm 58 and I remember when I was 12 years old I had a mad crush on Donny i thought we were going to get married and live happy ever after.i had posters all over my bedroom walls my older sister and brother who where hippies would give me stick and laugh at me but i never let it bother me because my friends had a crush on him to.and still to this day now older i still listen to them and watch old videos of me with my grandchildren like I did with my son and the concerts i went to that my mom recorded many years ago .O innoncet young love.bands like them the Jackson's; the BeeGees; David Bowie :Leaf Garret who was a hunk then and Bands like them where the hunky Dorys then.but as i aged to 15 I got into pink Floyd; Led zepplen; Fleetwood mac ; Deep Purple Black Sabbath: mike Oldfield and Bands of that style then .but I still keep a special part of the Osmands always with me.because my first crush was Donny.💏💖🦋🤗😍👍

I'm 65 and believe it or not I always had a huge crush on his sister Maria that I still have to this day... I'm from South Texas and a number of years ago I attended a concert in SAN ANTONIO to see the one and only super group "FLEETWOOD MAC" and it the concert of a lifetime for me because I've always had a MAD CRUSH on "STEVIE NICKS" and today's music will never compare to the music from way way back and for that I will always cherish those fond memories of great music that will never get old...Ty so much for your positive feedback 👏👏👏❣️

The Osmonds were my idols when I was young.

loved this song when it first came out and loved it ever since. what a joy to see these two delightful people perform. got the chance to see them live just before their final show in vegas {and their brothers in branson too, but that's another post perhaps}. front row seats and back stage meet and greet too. what a treat. what a legacy of love they have left the world. how much better can you do than that? love and peace to you and all, xxxxxxx

I took my husband to see Donny and Marie in Las Vegas back in 2009 and they were both amazing!!!! We were so happy we got to see them!!!! XOXO

Donny and Marie are the most beautiful and talented brother and sister team of all!!

Their voices harmonise beautifully

I miss the variety shows like this such as Hee Haw, Carol Burnett and, of course, Donnie and Marie. I would love to see shows like these again. Unfortunately, I doubt any would even come close.

Donny and Marie Osmond's show was my favorite show on Friday night. I still remember it so much to this day. I was so in love with Donny Osmond and was my favorite. I loved all the original osmond brothers with Donny. Loved Marie 's paper roses song too. She is so beautiful to this day. Donny is still handsome too. Love you guys!!! 💕

Donny&Marie have always seemed so "in synch" with each other, plus they have a natural playfulness that is so charming. Heard a recent interview in which Marie said she and Donny could look at each other and know what the other was thinking while performing. I have seen evidence of that even when they were teenagers doing Donny&Marie show skits in the 1970's.

I read an interview with Donny once, & he said that Marie was pretty much his best friend growing up. The older boys were doing their thing & since they were so much younger, they would have to amuse themselves. He said they used to do everything together, which is probably why they have that connection.

Talk about memories, that's sure. Does go back quite a few days. Who knows Donny and Murray?❤

Used to watch that show every week. Actually, back then there were a lot of musical shows. Now not a one. Of course I can understand that. Who would want to watch they type of music popular today?

We were 6 years old and we listened to Osmond in the 1960s. Great songs. I like to listen.

A truly beautiful song and I love their harmony. They always sang so well together , they were just fantastic . Some time later I watched to my amazement Cliff Richard and Olivia Newton John sing this duet together in England and I almost fell off my chair . I didn't think anybody could match Donnie and Marie on this one , but honestly not only did Cliff and Olivia nail it , I actually thought that maybe, just maybe , they were slightly even better , it was hard to say . I guess it was a time when so many of our entertainers actually had talent . I unfortunately cant say the same for todays lot . Thank you for this video , I have always loved Donnie and Marie . My whole family just adored the Osmonds .
