Thanks for the message! I've made the offer to get you on the console before....and the offer never expires! Bring your recording equipment and do a livestream for your KZread channel! A few months ago, Jelani and I were talking about you and a toccata you played by Gaston Belier. It was really great to hear from you!

I concur with the previous comments, and have recently had the pleasure of hearing Jelani play this incredible instrument, which he has designed, live at last year’s ATOS convention. The scope of the available tonalities is boundless, and only a truly skilled musician like Jelani can take full advantage of what he has created. I agree that while the recording is of excellent quality, nothing quite compares to being there to hear it played. As I was told there are plans to make the hall more of a formal auditorium, and not merely a warehouse, one can only imagine the improvements in sound that will result when the conversion is completed. We owe a debt to the wonderful folks at Carma Labs who have had the enthusiasm and knowledge to permit this project to come to such a successful fruition.

Thanks for all the kind words. It's actually my family, in particular....Paul Woelbing, who has made all of this happen. Carma Labs doesn't actually own the organ, nor do they have any control over it. It is owned by Paul....and he (who also owns Carmex) keeps the organ in the Carmex 40,000 sq. ft. distribution center warehouse. Also, as you mentioned, this will be turning into an auditorium at the end of this year. Carma Labs will be permanently moving out of this building and into it's new 5-acre building....leaving only the organ here. No more racks of boxes to deaden the sound. Before putting the racks in many years ago, there was a beautiful 3-second reverberation in the warehouse. Those acoustics will be back before the end of the year and everyone is looking forward to it. Don't hesitate to leave a message here for Paul....he deserves all the credit.

Wonderful playing on the part of both musicians. It really brings out the resources of this ihstrument. I particularly enjoyed Donnie Rankins number "When Your Lover Has Gone." Such feeling and emotion...

Truly spectacular gentlemen! I so missing being in WI, and close to the Carma Labs! I had the pleasure of doing the Rhapsody my senior year of college with our orchestra, so know the piece well, and terrific job by both of you! All massive congrats for an incredible program! I have forwarded the link to our Sooner State Chapter here in Tulsa, so all can enjoy! A stupendous job and so nice to hear the live drums, and all that the organ brings along! Well done!!!

By the end of this year, 2024, the "Home Depot" look will be gone. All the racks and shelves will be moving into the new building, revealing the lost 2-3 second echo/reverberation that the shelves and boxes conceal. Eventually the 40,000 square foot building will look and sound like the concert hall that it is slowly being transformed into!

FABOULOUS!!! And INSIDE a musical instrument importing warehouse, where I spent half of my life, doing International buying at Musik Messe and NAMM and others over the years and we used to "undress" and "set up" musical instruments (as they come out of the shipping containers into the warehouse), and set some of them up among the 10m high rows of fork hoist pallet shelving and test them out and "set them up" to be shipped to retail shops... I also did the "front-of-house" retail demonstration of pianos (Schimmel, Kawai, Yamaha, etc.) and KORG Inc (Japan), etcetera. (A warehouse has anything between an "excellent" or "horrifying" acoustic environment..!!! But it didn't matter...!!! WE HAD FUN, because all of us are musicians... Everyone to "his own trade". I'm classically University qualified in piano and pipe organ. THIS just SO reminds me of "making music" in a musical instrument distribution warehouse..!! We also import Rodgers organs and Johannes organs. THANK YOU for this very pleasant video of two great and versatile musicians..!! [Dewald, New Zealand]
