Donner Travel Guitar modifications.

I wanted to put the guitar into my suitcase to avoid it going separately into baggage or arguing with staff to take it on board with me. I wanted to keep one of the metal shapes on the guitar so got a larger, baritone ukelele bag. The guitar when in the bag fits in the suitcase diagonally. I disliked using the hex keys so substituted 40mm brass bolts so that any star screwdriver will work. I like the top metal 'guitar shape' to support my arm but it's not needed when seated. That's why I leave the lower one fixed. I drilled a hole for the dowel support into the body, and drilled through the body and dowel for the bolt. I use the guitar through FX and an amp or as is. It's great. Note: Although I say that I would remove the larger shape for travel, I don't have to. The guitar fits into the bag easily.
