Too bad my modernizing series on Donner has taken so long. I would definitely recommend a comparison between that and my edits when it's done...in 3+ years 😂 Love the Time Lapse videos as always!

Good to hear from you man! For sure when it's done let me know and I'll do a comparison, will also just do a standalone Time Lapse as well. You sure did set yourself a massive goal to reach though, but I'm sure it will be worth it!

One of the longest paid DLC routes in the game. Possibly the longest in America at least. Topped by the 2014 Western Mainlines (heard of a 6 hour straight drive along this) and, later, the Kyle Line (7 hours for individual scenarios).

Your videos make all routes look better

Haha that they do, at least people get a chance to view the surroundings that they probably wouldn’t pay all that much attention to while playing, or from cab view limitations.

Yup can add it to the list. Will be doing all Recent Release Routes first, but I’ll probably throw that one in the middle of doing them, maybe after the next 2 I do.

@@radish9261 Yup that one was on my Recent Release List. Tell you what, Video order for next few I'll do "Aickens - Springfield", "Bristol - Swansea", then I'll throw the Granger Heartland in for you. If any new releases get released they will take priority. Give me a few weeks though to get them all done, as I have to purchase all of these Routes, and still pay my bills and live lol.

Thanks for the kind words, and comment. More detailed reasoning of that is in the Description, but short answer is I just set a Loco down, and add a Destination. It saves me a lot of time having to research what Lines to use, and setting up multiple points through the Route to make sure the Loco follows the correct path. At the end of the day these Videos are intended to showcase the Route only, and if I weren't so lazy, I'd probably do the entire run through Free Cam, but using a Loco is just easier ;)

I’ve heard people say Donner takes hell long to drive. Some even said 6 hours end to end. Is it actually true?

Can't remember off the top of my head the total time taken from End to End, but yeah it would easily be 4-6hrs at the Speed Limit. Marias Pass I double checked last week was 4 hours, so long Routes like that aren't unheard of. Keep in mind though that a lot of the time is also due to slower Speed Limit's on Tracks. Although Donner Pass is around 4-6hrs, when I did my Time Lapse Video and as I don't follow the Speed Limits, I had the recording done in around 2.5-3hrs.
