Was 16 when this came out... I grew up on the same street as Donna Lewis in Cardiff, I often saw her out and about growing up, didn't know her much as she was a fair bit older than me and quite a private person but she was always polite and used to say good morning when I passed her in the street (I was totally unaware that she was a singer), and about a year before this she sat next to me on the bus into town... It was a surreal experience as the next time I saw her after that bus ride was when she appeared on Top Of The Pops a year later!

Live singing on TOTP. It was quite good in the nineties when they did this.

It's not live (and obviously not, play it at the same time as the official song, not a note or pitch difference) and indeed ToTP in the 1990s wouldn't let you sing live. Oasis famously trolled ToTP for this.

@Steven Sharp Why don't you listen to the two together? Her vocal is different from the start. It's breathier, there's difference in pitch and there's little flourishes. I don't know if it's live precisely, but it's different. There is quite a bit of live singing on the TOTP videos here (Shakespeares Sister for example)
