Man I remember waking up every weekend and just start playing it on my Wii. When I finished the game I didn’t care it was still really fun to play and I mainly played the boss levels over and over because they were so fun.

Yea...im like in denial at how easy he is to beat, and as I was watching the video before I saw the fight I remember thinking about how I used to beat this boss just for fun because I "mastered it". Then after seeing the fight in the video, nope, I realize its just because he is brain dead easy and you can kill him in 2 seconds lol.

I love how in the mario series Dk is so much bigger than everyone, and in the Dkc series he's so small.

I like how Stu's cauldron looks like it's filled with skulls, but it's just filled with upwards facing bombs. That's really clever.

I always used to think the minecart one was so scary as a kid because they were so close to falling off into the bottomless ravine.

This game just proves that nintendo has timeless art styles. It's going on 12 years old and still looks the same to me as when I played it in 2010. I still play it on a crt with component cables

Everyone knows the tiki song before each boss has the instrument play when they hipnotise, but I bet not as many know that the bosses ost incorporates the instrument in, I just realized that.

I use to watch this when I was younger, so seeing this again is like a treasure

I remember playing one of the levels in world 2 at a target stand after buying super smash bros brawl and man… I remember having a great time, I was like 6 or 7 and I still hold this memory til this day. I’ll Never forget that moment.

You could even make the case that the reason the music gets crazier and more intense is because as donkey Kong beats the ever living shit out of the boss it’s progressively snapping him out of the tikis control and this the Tiki has to crank up the music to keep them brainwashed and mind controlled

Phase one (with the big legs) is the obnoxious part of the boss. Most of the time it's just an annoying waiting game until he jumps.

Man I should really start playing this game again just to play these bosses and listen to the most awesome soundtracks ever

I would’ve called the 4th boss “The Mole Express” , it’s a better name 18:05 I love the way the accordion plays with this tiki I have no idea what the 1sts instrument is, must be a tiki mask then Easter egg: you can hear the tiki instrument during the boss song

This game Is my childhood 😌 Nostalgia Is real now

Facts this was my fav donkey Kong game

I remember reaching the Tiki Tong boss was harder than the actual boss itself 😂. I miss these days man.

I used to play this game all the time it’s so much nostalgia seeing this I always loved smacking the crabs because I always struggled with that boss but this game is still one of my top 3 of all time such a amazing game

Just a couple of things 5:05 as a kid that roar alone made me intimidated af 18:30 this music is banging I absolutely have to play this game again

21:48 and this ladies and gentlemen is why I never knew King K Rool was DK’s archenemy until SSBU introduced me to him tbh the Smash bros series introduced me to a lot of characters from various games I’ve never played such as earth bound, Kid Icarus, F-Zero and Starfox.

By far the Scurvy crew was the best and most fun fight when I played it on my Nintendo 2ds

It's cool that the bosses always have 3 or 3x3 phases, only to make it more comfortable for the player to fight them.

Even if Mugly is the easiest boss in the game, he's my favorite. I have fond memories of fighting him countless times. ^^

Lol me too! I would get mad when he would waste my lives, so I always made him play levels where we had a super guide. I managed to convince him that he was so good at the game that he could play it without even touching the controller. He believed it for YEARS!! I would always be like, “you wanna play as blue donkey Kong” and he would be like “yea!!”

Diddy Kong: We need to defeat these tiki guys! Donkey Kong: Yeah! Diddy Kong: ...Because they're building an army, and they want to conquer the world! Donkey Kong: Oh! Um... Yeah! Diddy Kong: ... Donkey Kong: ... Diddy Kong: Why did YOU think we needed to stop these tiki guys? Donkey Kong: To get our bananas back?

I remember raging so much when flying all the way to the top of the tiki tower and when you get defeated at the final boss, YOU HAVE TO START ALL OVER FROM THE BEGINNING AND HAVE TO FLY ALL THE WAY UP AGAIN (You should’ve added the part when you have to fly up btw)

Wait, as I remember, you didn't have to fly back up again. You just start with only 2 lives. But to make the boss easier, you had to start over to get Diddy Kong. So frustrating back then

I remember playing this game during a Hurricane in 2017, then the power goes out, all the sudden I’m at the end of the game. One of the best games I ever played growing up.

God I love the tiki hypnosis theme it’s so good I like how the hypnosis theme is played with the instrument the boss is

For some reason the last boss battle was satisfying, the music and the just the whole aura of it
