Probably because the Super Nintendo Cartrige dont have much space for more bosses, so they discarted

Maybe to expand upon the game add something exclusive to the game to make people who have the snes version get the gba version

To be fair the bosses in Super Mario Bros 3 and Super Mario World were fare more simple than the DKC bosses.

This is a good port it has very good music its a bit butchered but you could still tell what is playing there is an entirely new boss really good for the GBA

he looks horribly off-model and falls into the uncanny valley, he has a pathetic fight with uninspired attacks and his mere existence ruins the false sense of victory the original's stronghold showdown was intended to give you.

@@kingdedede5570 Well I mean, the level IS called stronghold showdown. So you kinda need a showdown to put in the stronghold. Also I'm pretty sure he's supposed to look weird and creepy, my personal theory was that this was the devs way of bridging the gap between dkc2 and 3, and that Kerozene was the start of the Kremlings experimenting with the genetic editing we see the Baron use in dkc3. Also his attacks are much more inspired than mr jump around the screen all fight or the sentient sword. Look, they butchered a lot of stuff in this remake, but Kerozene is a good boy.

@@Jesterman each to their own but the title is a bait lol you THINK there's gonna be a showdown but there isn't. also you don't get to call kleever uninspired when this dude literally just reuses smaller weaker kleevers for his attacks lol. and well i honestly never was a fan of dkc3 and even if kerozene were "bridging the gap between 2 and 3" he still looks disturbing, even moreso than the kremlings in the actual game. tldr i think he's an ugly boss with a slow, boring fight(nothing even reaches you when you're on his fists...) that the game could've done without. i guess he does have a better fight than kudgel tho but that's not saying much

@@kingdedede5570 I don't get how throwing around Kleevers is uninspired. To me it's kinda like "Oh, you thought that guy was tough? Well this guy's so strong he throws them around like baby toys". Also, his ugliness is what makes him so likeable. He's a big goofy boy.

The additional sound effects are predictably cheap, annoying, corny, and unnecessary...not that the GBA was the best system to rehash these incredible games on. One of the reasons I hate remakes/remasters...
