The Gangplank Galleon theme is really exquisite, it might be the best final boss music of all time, it starts off like a light hearted goofy pirate chantey but morphs into a dramatically intense rock opera battle theme. It captures King K. Rool's personality as an unhinged madman.

Fun fact: Donkey-Kong Land’s iteration of Gangplank Galleon would be used for the Final Boss of Donkey Kong Country for Game Boy Color!

I've never seen a Gangplank Galleon mash-up like this before, fantastic!

Love how the music just explodes towards the beginning with everyone pitching in.

Speeding it up to 1.25 makes it sound amazing!

Ult's Snakey Chantey sounding like it's gonna end right after the Kredits in the background ended couldn't have been better timed since K Rool gets back up once the music intensifies again

I love the juxtaposition being the chiptune DK Land segments and **the intense jazz trumpets**

So much effort and creativity put into it, it's incredible. Your work is clearly, utterly underrated, man. My only wish is that it was longer, it's gorgeous! It's truely one of the best examples of what mashups are supposed to be.

Mashups are supposed to be two disperate songs being combined by exploiting shared harmonic traits between the two. This is just multiple versions of the same song being layered and mixed, which by definition is not a mashup.

I really love the slowed-down part at 4:10 adding a bit of dramatic flair before ramping back up as its joined by the others. SSBU has fantastic remixes, made better by talented people like you!

I hope that when I uncontrollably scat along to Snakey Chantey, it sounds half as good to any eavesdroppers as it does in my head.

This is officially one of my favorite videos about _Donkey Kong_ music I’ve ever watched, that much is undeniable. But also am I an idiot? When was that opening riff ever in _DKC3?_ I should probably replay it sometime. With the benefit of hindsight, it’s very clear that _DKC3_ has plenty of its own merits and is still a good game, after all. Even if _DKC2_ is still objectively the best one 🏴‍☠️

After you circle the rocks to reveal Krematoa in DKC3, a jingle plays consisting of the first few notes of the Gangplank Galleon theme. It's brief so it's easy to miss.
