I'm a legal immigrant and I'm quite baffled that legal immigrants don't speak about this. When you get visa in the US, you can apply for American driver's license and you basically use that driver's license for everything...so...even though it is illegal for you to vote as a noncitizen it is very easy to get a voting ballot. Look at state requirements...California for example. First time voter needs to show driver's license or utility bill...that's it. There is nothing to prevent me from getting a voting ballot and voting this year...not gonna do it of course, I'm just trying to explain how easy it is. Not to mention that in California even illegals can get driver's license, I know cause I know a couple of my fellow countrymen who are here illegally and do have official state drivers license.... I am 1000% sure there have been votes cast by illegal immigrants in the last election and there will be this year as well. You/We need to introduce a law that requires you to have a separate voting identification card that will be only granted if you can prove you're a US citizen by having a US passport, birth certificate/naturalization certificate or anything else that can prove being doubt that you are the citizen.

It will be hard to argue, in the post-cheat audit, that millions of people who parted with hard earned dollars for the red team will still vote blue. Beat the Cheat: The money is too good from the cheaters. ANYONE who touches your ballot is a target for bribe. Fewer hands in the mix the better.

If your $1500 computer is slow, then you either got horribly ripped off or you have a ton of bloatware and/or malware clogging up your windows install. Any computer above $600 should be able to do day to day tasks easily with no issues, I'd be interested in knowing what your specs are listed as in task manager. Throwing $3000 away on another computer without finding the actual root of the problem isn't the right decision. Just do a clean windows reinstall, and that should help. You can carry over any important files by putting them on a thumbdrive or an external SSD. I'd also recommend running a scan with malwarebytes after reinstalling to see if there's anything nasty installed.

Windows slows down with all the updates...and Windows 11 is a nightmare. Go Linux, and you'll have a faster and more reliable computer. If you do stick with windows, as TrueReaper said, go with an SSD, max out your computer's RAM, and a full re-install of Windows. Make sure you don't use the re-install software from the company, that's full of bloatware. Get the windows install directly from Microsoft.

@@truereaper4572 Then you haven't tried modern Linux. Linux Mint is as easy to use...in some ways more easy to use than Windows 11. There are thousands of seniors using Linux now. I know, I have converted multiple PC's for Seniors, saving them thousands of dollars. They normally use web browsers, and Chrome, Edge and Brave work exactly the same on Linux as on Windows. Linux is perfect for older equipment as well. The only issues are gaming and adobe...and I doubt DG is using either. Linux has a built in free PDF reader.

Depending on your computer, you might be able to take it to Best Buy and get it looked at before you invest in a new computer? I did that with a laptop I'd gotten back in 2019 and they made it work as good as any of their new stuff. Better RAM, better processor. Whatever that means, haha, I'm not actually a computer person.

The difference of running Biden and a Biden substitute is the difference between losing and losing big. The only factor the DNC needs to consider is what the effect of tossing Biden is on the down ballot. The Senate seems likely to go Republican, but I keep seeing the House is in play, so the calculus is, does Biden or not-Biden give the best chance of taking the House.

I'm a huge Trump supporter, but to be honest, them ditching Biden would not only make them lose the Presidency, which was going to happen whether they kept Biden or not, but by keeping Biden, they lose by LESS. Ditching Biden, they lose by MORE AND have no chance of regaining the House.

I think the state to watch this cycle is Pennsylvania, if Trump wins it he wins the election. The zoomer demographic voting I think will shock the system too. All the zoomers at my work are going Trump, and I live in Maine. It appears the male youth have swung massively to the right.
