Donald Lambert is incredible and he plays with no effort at all and in fact, he is the only guy that is close to Art Tatum. While Oscar Peterson is also great, but he makes such a big effort and he sweats so much, so that he always uses a handkerchief while playing.

Donald Lambert is awesome. What a pity he´s practically unknown. His stride is in the same class as Hines, Tatum, Waller & Co.

Yaeh, that four-four walking bass in single notes! Another witness that Stride Piano was not only left hand "oom-pahs"! As James P. Johnson once stated, :-)
