That was great, Jules, really enjoyed it. I actually have some of the ones you're missing (and of course you have many of the ones I don't have, me not being a completist). Good to see you referring to the SF Encyclopedia, it's been my bible for many decades, great book!

Thanks Steve, I really enjoyed putting this one together. I've tracked down another three that I was missing since filming this (including the Lumley). The SF encyclopedia is fantastic, so detailed. I've hundreds more DAWs to get through. Would love some POS for the collection 👍

Thank you so so much . I was so looking forward to the deep dive into Daw. Thoes covers...eye catching. And the authors , many i have collect , read and are faves. The Gor books...i remember the looks of disapproval i got from my hard core SF friends . Lol . Along with LRH...still very collectable. " it is what it is " lol . I will say no more . Be strong, look for joblots! I've looked up my missing numbers on eBay, could three gaps cheap, the rest are all $10 upwards a pop.

I have a 3rd printing of Darkover Landfall in pretty good condition. I found it to be an enjoyable read!

Wow!All my Daws were bought second to 11th hand and are rather beaten up- it's great to see them all together here and n such good condition!

What a beautiful collection. Lot of great hours of escaping reality. Me being a Koontz's fan I would have to read his. Never knew DAW published him. Great set Jules. Hope you pick up the few your missing. And in as good condition. Your's are in great shape. Really enjoyed this vid. ❤️

Thank you for this video. My brother collects SF paperbacks, however he is interested in certain authors only. I once bought him a box of a couple dozen vintage Andre Norton books for Christmas, but he did not keep them -- there were 2 or 3 of her Daw books in there. ~~ Jim in Indiana

That The Other Log of Phileas Fogg is a 1st printing. There was a period where DAW used that type 1 to 10 printing notation instead of a 12345678910 number line but stopped it because it was confusing to collectors. I own all the yellow spine 1st printing and most of the later printing, except of course the elusive, here in the US, Canadian 2nd printings.

Brilliant information Don, thanks. They are very little online for collectors to reference. Unlike some other publishers. I envy all those 1st printings. I've got three more from the first hundred since this was filmed. Including the Brian Lumley 👍

I recently picked up the Daw edition of PKD’s The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch with art by Bob Pepper for way too much money but I had to have it.

Absolutely, but there are a few duds of course. Have a little check over on the goodreads.com website to see if the reviews are generally favourable. Then you'll know if the book is good. The DAW edition is always great fun to read. Retro and cool🙂

I have just finished a book called Star Maker by olaf stapledon , wow not a bad story , i really enjoyed it

Fairs do's buddy, you can spot an old Daw miles away with that destinctive yellow spine 👍

I do have at least a couple of early Panther paperbacks. I used to have all his early pulp stuff but had to let it go. Ran out of space.👍
