Idk he probably wasn't phased actually because around this time, David and Mark didn't plan on telling anyone who the murderer was. It wasn't until later that ABC forced them to pick a killer and end her investigation. So he probably didn't even know here if the lady was right or not. Haha Maybe her theory is what sparked him and David to go that way.

She just guessed right. 1/34 shot. There were some clues, but just as many for others, so it literally could have been anyone. It would have been impressive if she said Bob killed her through Leland.

I kept watching this mostly to see if anybody guessed it right. I'm so glad that woman did!

Such a perceptive question at 2:30 and something that ended up losing a lot of viewers in Season 2.

Damn! I think you just blew my mind. I totally love the organic way Lynch/Frost took with Twin Peaks. I think that's why it is so absolutely brilliant, has a massive cult-following and has broken boundaries for Television Series post-Twin Peaks.

The woman at 7:22 figured it all out!

such a beautiful cast, I loved this show so much until the last 10 minutes. I felt a bit betrayed, but it was so worth it.

What the hell was the wrong with the last ten minutes?

I wonder if the woman who "figured it out" actually gave Mark Frost the idea. Lynch/Frost didn't want the murder to ever be solved but caved into pressure during the second season, so there's the strong possibility during the Donahue taping that they didn't even choose the murderer yet. In clip 5 another woman asks if there's an incestuous relationship between Laura & her father. Maybe these two women actually came up with the idea and Lynch/Frost decided to go with that one...

That woman clearly knew her murder mystery shit. She must have picked up and understood all the clues. Also, after watching the little 1 minute prevue of Twin Peaks when Agent Cooper reminds the tape to hear what the bird said before it died, you can actually hear it saying 'No Leylend, No!' Don't know what I didn't pick up on that before.

that was one hell of a guess lady! i'm not entirely sure if mark frost himself knew who the killer was yet, but it is possible. one of the stipulations for getting the show picked up was that they had to reveal the killer's identity. but that wasn't something they planned to do... who knows? maybe this woman's suggestion shaped the story

Everyone keeps saying the lady got it when she said Leland, Laura's father, killed her. That is incorrect basically because it was BOB ! lol Everyone knows that. There is one seen in the series that shows very clearly that Leland is possessed by a demon full of hate, but Leland alone loves Laura very much, and you catch a glimps of him when Leland comes into Laura's bedroom right after that big fight at the dinner table in the dining room and then goes up to her room. He comes in, kisses her, and tells her how much he loves her, and then just leaves, and then Laura brakes down.
