Yeah, they were doing too much when breaking it down. Travis flowed with the song and definitely added to it. They always seem to go into listening to Travis with a pessimistic mindset so that probably ruins it for them every time because they refuse to understand what Trav’s going for

Overall I think this album is a very well put together album. I love how Don is experimenting more with the R&B side that we haven't really been able to see from previous projects. In his hot 97 interview he stated that he is really focusing more on his singing so I hope for the next album we can see a more polished version of what he is trying to accomplish.

His voice was horrible. Almost as bad as the overly loud poorly mixed high hats. He needs to calm his voice down. Hes trying to sing but it sounds screechy and high pitched. Songs from him like wasted where it felt dreamy and he flowed with the beat in a normal voice sounded far more soothing. This felt like when steel rubs against steel to listen to

Nah they got a point tho, he doesn’t take over a track anymore for some reason. Every Travis feature used to be on a different level. Now he is doing these weird ass flows that nobody wants to hear from him. He has a vocal inflection on the Flocky Flocky verse where he goes high and old Travis would stay in that voice for a couple lines, but instead he says “Rooster” shit pisses me off that he is doing the bare minimum. Features are important.
