comparing nappa and goku ssb is impossible : Nappa is a lot more detailled, and his chara design super badass. Goku ssb is like an anorexic, nothing is badass in hair dye transformation

I gave up on my drawing skills over the span of 5 years. Ever since my latter years in high school and my current years in college. Ive just had to much work on my hands. Drawing was always a childhood passion of mine. Everyone in my family supported it. I liked to do it. I would always make terrible drawing of the favorite things i liked at the time. Mainly Dragon Ball. Originally i was going to be taking nothing but art classes in middle school and high school with such as regular preaep classes of art and tons of theater. With the hopes i could make a good enough pro-folio to get accepted into big name colleges. I ended up passing all the classes i took up until my junior year where i dropped out of all the classes because my passion for art was starting to die. My skills have dramatically dropped over the years, but thanks to this video and the relation to something that was a big part of childhood, I’ve been getting back into art over the past couple of days. Im not as good as i used to be. But I’m getting there. I just want to say thank you for the helpful tips, and for inspiring me to get back into what i once lost.

If you are very familiar with what you draw, you can do it.

Normally I hate do's or don't videos because some artist would mocks the artist lack of skillz or just doesnt teach why you should avoid what the artist suggesting to not make. But this one was pretty good and are acutally very good tips. As well you didnt put people down IF they made these mistakes. Appreciate this video a lot. Well done

Great tutorial as always! These tips are very helpful to me and others. Keep it up!

This is more of a a basic art tutorial that can really be used for anything not just dbz but I’m not complaining this is so good and I can learn a thing or two by watching this video

Good tutorial. Goes over the main important points pretty well, it seems. I'm pretty proficient at Dragon Ball drawings, but lighting is still a bit mindbogling sometimes. They don't follow all physics rules in DB but they do pick some real world lighting effects to give desired looks. I just don't know precicely the logic behind how they shade and when to use each effect. Having to take account of coloured lighting, auras, glow etc is pretty hard. Cause I could just copy another drawing but I would be borrowing a different scene's lighting and that's not good enough. Not to even get into the old school vs new school art styles dilema. Anyway, just sharing, I'm sure practice will make perfect.

@@littlecr7265 You said that the Broly Movie doesn't have 3 tones :v And the most of times, not incluiding the Brolt Movie, it only have 2 tones. In Super it have 2 tones too, but with a bright white color. And in the Broly Movie the most of time it have 1 or 2 tones, but better animation.

Rate my manga 1-10 one day an unknown element was founded by the nazis in 1939. After 6 months of research they have discovered it isn’t some sort of ore but a element that has some sort of power stuck in it. They tried burning it, shooting it, hitting it, and it wouldn’t budge. After a year(1940.5) it somewhat, hatched. This was a very surprising discovery so they decided to find more of these. They used it on a test subject(a mouse). The mouse then turned blue and died from poison. Then the leader of Japan decided to test it himself since everyone was afraid to do it. They put him in a chamber and then pour and lot of the element on him. After a minute or so lightning was flashing inside of the chamber and the systems got cut off so did the lights, power, etc. Then Korto(the leader of Japan) gained power no one could ever imagine. He had super strength, speed, was able to shoot electric energy that could destroy a tank, and they assumed it was enough to beat the army. But the thing they didn’t know was how bright the ore was before it “hatched”. The one Korto used was a really bright one which meant that it gave him greater power. The rest of them either had no light or they were dim which meant they would get powers but not as great as Korto’s. After one mission to infiltrate the Japan Korto used his power to kill over 100 soldiers. They retreated and only 12 survived. The allies decided to report this to the captain which then he would report to the president. They decided to have a spy although very risky the mission was carried on. They bout a giant capsule that has the unknown element in there. They as well tested it and they as well also got powers. 1945 an all out war commenced which only 2 soldiers would survive, Korto and Eric(the captain of the allies). They both had similar power and were equally matched, after a while they both used their strongest techniques. Eric’s was Ultimate Fury(A punch that is deadly at close range and could possibly blow the person up if they are not as strong or don’t have a power that would prevent that) and Korto’s was Ultimate Gatling(A fury of punches(over 100) that is sent at the enemy which could possibly kill them. After the clash of their strongest moves Eric wasn’t able to use his left arm and some of the power in his circulation got cut off. Korto still had the upper hand for he had been prepared for his moment as he used his power through his legs. After a Ultimate Kick to the back it had paralyzed Eric for 55 years. After those years Eric has obtained more power and has been healed. But while Eric’s recovery he walks home but sees guards near the city. The guard weren’t happy to see him as it was Korto’s guards. Eric uses an ultimate push(Preformed in a way where you used your palm to push wind) this would push the guards away. While Korto is in his secret lab, and engineer has finished making his gauntlets. Korto tested it in the engineer killing him. While Korto is training himself to use these, Eric is trying to find him. This is Chapter 0 of the manga a story of war and power if you want chapter 1 you must get me to 25 likes.

I found the whole thing to be *_SUPER_* useful [Hah! Get it?] However at 9:31 (it's first most clear here) the waist and legs seem to be just a little too big for the rest of the body. I my self just start with the wood man the analytical lines to establish the pose, wood man, then final sketch; I find it works better that way since without the scale you don't find yourself forcing a certain height when other parts aren't the appropriate size and its not clear till a bit in.

1:52 It's so cool how you just have to draw the eyes and I know its Gohan. Nice skills!

I don't think it's possible for me to even draw in the bad way. I cannot imagine pictures in my head with enough detail to formulate a cohesive plan to work from. I've been practicing for over a year now and I have not improved at all.

ADCArtAttack NO FUCKING SHIT! He's the main character! What? You want Yamcha to be the focus on the show now? It's not the same, there is a reason Goku is the main character. We are supposed to look at Goku's perspective of things, that's like if I were to show Bulma's perspective and show her doing her thing instead of showing Goku training with Roshi and Krillin. Sorry man had to go on a rant.

Voku okay, you can say that because that's your opinion. I'm just mad that Vegeta fans get mad that Goku gets spotlight and what do you fucking expect, he is the main character. I guess we'll change the story to how Vegeta fought Goku and Goku brought out his light side and he's competing to get stronger than him rather than Goku the saiyan raised on Earth learning more and more about what's right in society and learning about society so he doesn't keep smacking people's crotch on the quest to be the strongest. It's a completely different story. You can't tell Toriyama to change such a perfect series, it's just bullshit. If you want to make a special than fine, Bardock had one, just don't go ranting against Toriyama to change the series.
