The little church on the small cliffjumping island is dedicated to Agios Nikolaos, the Saint that protects the seafarers!

We spent 10 days there two years ago. It was awesome we did the same tours you did. We loved the wine, the Tzatziki, and the greek salad was amazing.

Yes, yes, yes! Just came back and already missing this place. Such beautiful landacapes and people. And the food...OMG!

Visited Greece in 2019 and hired a driver out of Athens to take us to the Temple of Poseidon and eat local spots and the next day to the Loutraki Coast to see the Corinth Canal and ruins, visited lovely small towns and ate a wonderful meal at Ouzeri Giannis. Beautiful drive and 2 of our favorite days there. The food is SO AMAZING!! Those who are fortunate enough to have visited Greece are living vicariously through your vidoes! Enjoy!

We were in Santorini 3 weeks ago. Loved it! Stayed in Pyrgos in a beautiful Airbnb with a pool and a spectacular view. No cruises either, it was heaven. Definitely going back and taking it slower. After went to Paros 💕 what a beautiful island that is!

Nice video! If you ever go back, the hike from Thira to Oia is magnificent and the top of Skaros Rock is also a thing to recommend. You got an 360 view of the island up there. Keep that Greece vibe up! Jamas!

This was great and FYI for people growing up barefoot like I did in Hawaii walking and running on rocks doesn’t hurt at all.

Best time to go is September ! Thera is by far way better than Oia from experience but the sunset and sunrise on Oia are unbeatable! Definitely going back!

@@ImGeoX Oia is so over crowded it’s definitely nice but Thera took the show my wife and I loved it. If you are going make sure you make reservations for some fancy restaurants ahead of time, we seen a lot of people get turned away

I love this video. I love Santorini but you've made me love it even more. I did the hike from Fira to Oia, which is also something that I highly recommend.

It is definitely not easy. Bring extra sunscreen. Wear hiking or trail shoes. A hat will help. And have extra water. There is a place along the way where you can buy extra. It's going to take at least 3 hours, but give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the view. Take rest breaks. It's the journey, not arriving at the destination. And lastly, have fun. I can't wait to do it again.@@ashleyong55

@@ashleyong55 You will be absolutely fine! Just research the start of the route out of Fira, and generally keep to the left and follow the signs. There will be a short section where you are walking on a road against vehicle traffic.

I've been to Santorini, it's a bit pricey for Greeks, but it worthed it, it's unique and worths to visit once in your life.

Tzatziki is made of Greekyoghurt . Or yoghurt naturally thik one.You need a cucumber and garlic 🧄 maybe 2 garlic.and salt and a grater and a dish towel. Cut the cucumber 🥒 on along. Take the seeds out, use a spoon, take your your dish towel put it on the table on top of that you have your grater, take the cucumber and make it on the grater. Then you twist very hard your cucumber inside the dish towel so there’s no more cucumber juice left. Take your Greek yoghurt an put cucumber, mast garlic and some salt in it Stir around, then you have it. 😊good luck 👍🏻be careful with the cucumber juice on the table 😊

The brown water is caused by sulphur leaking from the caldera. It can turn your silver jewelry black and if you have white bathing suits it can dye those a little brown as well.

hey guys:) love your vidoes. :) my husband and I are planning to spend some time in Santorini and we plan to stay a few nights in Perissa Beach...and then we are debating on whether we should stay in Fira or Oia or Imerovigli...we like to be around restaurants and cafes and things going on...but dont want to be in an overcrowded...super loud or touristy part of town either...wondering what your favorite part of the island is and which area you'd choose to stay in for a couple of nights:)

It’s a shame everyone focusses on Oia which, although pretty is also pretty overcrowded. The island has so much more to offer - we stayed in Akrotiri in the south and the views of the rest of the island (Santorini not really a beach destination) are incredible. Visit Edge restaurant just outside of Akrotiri. Stunning!
