Just remember that you don't have to buy scrubs and you never have to launder them! I always loved that part of the job!

I once found a £10 note in a scrub top pocket.......a very clean one. Melted boiled sweets or worse in pockets are less enjoyable. You've got some very nice full length lockers there. Makes a big difference. In the NHS in UK you are lucky to get anything bigger than 12 inches high.

Should surgery be done with an active infection of any kind present ?

Depends. There's some surgeries that are needed because of frequent infections. Tonsils and adenoids are done because you're constantly having strep throat, or other throat infections. Putting in ear plugs for constant ear infections is another one. If you're having a UTI presently, we would reschedule your TKR.
