I just found out that she died last month after a short illness. I am so saddened. I liked her humor so much. R.I.P., thank you for all the laughs.

Indeed we do! Funny because of every day life not made up jokes and clean humor. Never heard anyone else like her.

I love Jeanne Robertson. I love her husband Left Brain, Dr Jerry Robertson. I literally watched the first Jeanne Robertson video of my life yesterday evening, and this morning when I was reading about her, I found out that she died a little over 5 months ago. My heart goes out to her son and grandsons and sister and nieces and nephews, all her family, and all of us who instantly adored her.

Jeanne is one of a kind. 🌟🌟🌟

This woman is hilarious. See folks, you do not need all this fussing and cussing in comedy act. This woman is the definition of what good clean comedy really is.

I just discovered this wonderful lady’s videos the other day. I was thinking I would 💕love to go see her speak one day. Then, I found out she had passed. (Bowed head.) I am sad 😢 to know about her too late. She is such a treasure; may she Rest in Peace 🕊.

i found out yesterday that she passed in august. it truly made me sad. then it made me smile to know she is with left brain again. deepest sympathys to her family.

I am 66 going on 5 My honesty unfortunately isn’t usually regarded as amusing for some darned reason. Clearly only true 5 year olds can get away with honesty bcuz for some reason my honesty tends to piss people off. 😏 My only explanation for my blatant honesty is that I am good at stating the obvious.

I went to go see Jeanne a couple weeks ago in Montgomery! She was amazing! I’m 19, so definitely the younger side of the audience but she was super funny and seems like such a fun person to be around 😂

but with 5 year olds that are convinced to be that being crowned Miss America is the highest goal they will achieve is totally wrong and it's not even funny. Please teach them to go to college and get a higher education that beauty is not going to get them everywhere. That will only get you so far in life. You need an education before Beauty OMG that wasn't funny to me

Amen! I watch her and laugh as I sit for hours in infusion, getting fluids because my GI system is dying. The entire room will be listening and laughing through it all. Laughter is by far the best medicine! Stay well!

Anitra Duke my daughter and granddaughter go through infusions also, for gastroparesis. It’s challenging but faith gets them through. May God bless and comfort you!

Thats so cute. When my son was abt 4yo, he was playing outside at dusk and I yelled out the door yo him and told him it was time to come inside because it was dark. His reply, "But momma, its only blue dark, its not black dark yet."

I like to end my day with a bit of humor before my prayer. Being a southern lady myself, I can identify with so many of Mrs. Robertson's adventures. Sometimes I think that we must be kin folks. I love her humor, class and willingness to share her talents.

I can hardly wait to see Jeanne when she comes to Seattle. A couple of weeks ago I came across Jeanne quite by accident and what a blessing!!! I have watched her clips over and over. I was born in the south and never wanted to live anywhere else’! Jeanne ‘s humor fits everyone all over our nation, I suspect! But her beautiful accent just tops it off!! She is laugh out loud funny!!

I think she's beautiful.

I work with preschool to elementary...and their honesty is hilarious...we have the rope for our special education students but they have a hard time keeping a straight line... Jeanne is sooo funny and I love the southern charm...

I just love her. she was keynote speaker at our convention and talked of days at Auburn where our son was in college...what a wonderful time she gave us.

She reminds me of my friend and adopted cousin, Sally Miller, who was in the Miss America Pageant 1958. Both are very tall attractive and funny ladies.

She is the best.

At age 5 my daughters little turtle died. We had to have a funeral of course. In Speedy's little shoe box, we put in some food, his little palm tree and his sunning rock. As we laid the little box into the ground she said "We got to say a prayer too". Since it was her turtle we told her she needed to say it. We bowed our heads and she began "Jesus little Speedy has died, he is on his way to you up there in heaven. You will like Speedy, he was a damed good little turtle! !" With that my 7 year old said "Oh yeah sis, that will get him up there!!"

I absolutely love your great sense of humor! Thank you so much for doing you and spreading your little rays of sunshine to so many of us. Continued happiness and success to you in the future.
