Hi Winnie. I enjoyed your videos about Lisbon and the Douro cruise. My wife and i are headed there in 7 weeks, and i was wondering if there was anything you wished you had done in Lisbon, but didn't get around to it.

Hi Alain, happy to hear about your upcoming trip. Lisbon isn't too big so we are able to check out all the major attractions. If you like history and castle, I suggest spending a night in Sintra and check out all the palaces and the coast.

Thanks but you gave no alternative to tram 28?

Hi, you can take tram 12 if you want the tram experience, it has a similar route like tram 28 in the city center area but doesn't extend to the West side of the city. Depend on where you want to go, which is a Google Maps search away, I would take the city bus or light rail instead, they run frequently. :)

Can I ask from the lighting it appeared you were doing Tram 28 around noon. I have heard if you can ride the train before 8 or 9 there are no crowds. Also you commented that Commerce Square food was mediocre and expensive. Have to be honest eating overpriced veggie gyoza at Time Out Market does not seem too traditional.

Hi Brian, yes, if you take the first tram of the day, you may avoid the initial crowd but a lot of locals take them too so there will be more people hopping on at each stop and of course the tourists like us aren’t leaving the tram. i notice there’s a line after the first train. We were out by 9am. I spotted the tram through out the day and they are always packed. I like the Time Out market because of the variety of food, the food is over priced everywhere in city center. You can do port wine tasting while grabbing whatever food to your liking. It has everything in there.

I didn’t get any license, I follow the rules in the DJI app. It would tell me whether it’s an authorized zone or not. I would say check with the local rules if you want to be triple sure.

@@hellowinnie thanks, I tried to Google it before I came to Portugal, but the page said need to register and stick the registration number on the drone, that's why in the end I didn't bring it over :(

@@ken7hian a lot of places say so but many don’t have a solid process set up, plus certain small drone under certain weight limit can be exempted from the rule. I usually look up whether anyone has their drone confiscated at the airport I’m flying to. The chance of getting caught is higher at the port of entry.
