Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Lapping is the proper Technique. We often see issues with improperly ground housings,

Was told by a reputable rotary shop here in Australia that RX8 end plates are softer than all previous rotary engines, they recommend not machining them but lapping them.
I wrap my parts in shrink wrap to preserve with a very light coat of oil
Thanks brotha for that knowledge 👊🏼. I have a new set to me of used irons that I need to get done after porting .

well your just an idiot
It's not truly surface ground, I also don't believe it was done with a Blanchard grinder, that thing was done in a CNC mill with what they call "Grinding heads", well, that's what we called them.

I agree, I'm 99% sure those are flycut marks on the housing as opposed to any kind of grinding.

Ruined part gets no comment. Need to post commentary about tool used event though it doesn't matter? yes! lol. The part was ground with a stone on a mill to my best guess. Has the rotational swirl but looks of grinding not cutting. I see parts all the time that a ground and ruined. So we call the finish a ground finish vs lapped. And its rough and wavy. not usable. Yes, it wasn't done with a Blanchard grinder. that would be strait lines. But it was ground and is in bad shape and the running surface was what was ground. hence, we refer to it as surface ground vs lapped. please tell me what you would call it for the general consumer.
Those sure look like fly cutter did that not a grinder. Looks flycut and media blasted...
Wow that’s really bad😮😮😮
