Thanks, Bob! Been working really hard at it for two years. My highest consistent note (and I mean 100%) was high D two years ago. Now my high G is 95%. My goal is a solid Bb, which I finally nailed this week for the first time so I know I'm getting there, slowly but surely. 🎺

@@MrBsCOVERS That's what it's all about. No matter how old or young no matter how long you've been playing. Just keep working hard and good things will follow. I spent a decade dealing with concussion issues and couldn't practice. Now that I am good I've been working hard to get back where I was. It took 3 years but the hard work is paying off.

Fantastic!!!!! I love the octave higher! You nailed it!!!! I used to be able to hit that high F an octave up. I could hit the A above it. 25 years ago, lol. But I'm trying to get back there. well done! I lvoe your videos!

It feels like the trumpet replaces the lyrics, which make this an extremely enjoyable piece! Have you ever done any work for a series like Narcos or something similar? I could totally see you doing cover bits for shows like that, ie. during a climax right before cutting to commercial. Your style of staying true but adding your own spin would be a perfect match!

ok, was pretty good back in my day and thinking about getting back into it. Music theory was my weak point. The high part, did you just jump that up an octave? I'm assuming that was because the notes would have been off the scale for your graphics program or did I miss a notation stating such?

Good catch Shane. At measure 92 (guitar solo on the original) I indicated opt.8va. For younger players - they can play along as written - for someone with the range, they can go for it! thanks for watching. 🎺
