Just a quick aside for a moment. IMO JLP's ideas and words on racism (it doesn't exist, stop talking about it, stop being a victim etc) are some of the wisest, truest, unbiased and easiest to implement I've ever heard! Just saying that's all people! PEACE

Jesse is good for putting people on the spot to public speak... Honestly it is good practice... I learned that it is all about pouring out your heart and not judging yourself to public speak well. Never the less it would be hard for me to speak on the spot with no topic to initially talk about... but maybe he already had the topic in mind when he volunteered but either way it is nice to see how Jesse is bringing back some tradition to make men stronger in these situations that people really avoid a lot today in the modern world of social anxiety. Not saying he is socially anxious but we are so socially isolated that it seems strange these days.

That's a good point, that I'd initially missed TBH Shawn. About JLP perhaps trying to restore masculine traits in men. In this instance it's public speaking (but more about overcoming anxiety and ego etc) Thanks

Ain’t no such thing as a “friend” ! We all just have human interactions with one another. If you have an interaction and expect any kind of reciprocity, you are in hell. If you’re looking for a “deep relationship” with someone who can be “trusted”, you are in hell. God didn’t put humans onto earth to judge one another. If you interact with another human, it can be the same as eating an apple; I’ll keep at it while I’m satisfied and then I’ll step away when I’m done. And I don’t thinking about it afterward, it’s over. Friendships and reciprocity is all of the devil. He got you bound in chains thinking “he needs to say this” and “she better be like that”. What da!

Experiencing pursuing a mission? Having trouble integrating this. My ego wants to stack this perspective with the other ones. EDIT 2: I can see the ego is fake. And know silent prayer will help me see clearly. But I mean are we just gonna sit and meditate all day everyday? Getting to kingdom of heaven?

  • @Brownhoof

You have to mean it and speak from the heart, regardless of how she feels, it's not about her, it's about you. When you realize you are wrong for hating her then God will forgive you and you'll be free. Just say to her "Mom, I forgive you. And I am sorry for hating you... I realize now that you couldn't help yourself and I know you did your best." That's it. And mean it. At that moment you will be free but you will see it the following day. And don't worry if she gets angry, cries or does nothing at all - that's Satan trying to talk you out of it, he doesn't want you to be free but you can do it! I'm living proof that you can be reborn once you truly forgive her and your father for too🙏

Then how do you know there is a life outside of it? If there is no you, Jesse, then who is talking to us?
