Don't quit. (Haikyuu - Tanaka's cross shot)
Фильм және анимация
Everything was going wrong in life at once for me. I had a lot on my mind and it quickly went back to one of the best anime scenes of all time - Tanaka's cross shot against Inarizaki where he talks about his struggle of being "Nothing but average" will forever be one of the greatest bits of character development in any show, that's not even mentioning the banging OST.
Haikyuu truly is the G.O.A.T.

Whenever my mind goes into that mindset of I’m nothing special I always go back to this scene and think “well if you’re nothing special then you certainly don’t have time to be moping around do you?”

I love when I get a comment on this video haha, and yeah this line really stuck with me
Tanaka perfectly captures being ordinary yet ambitious, that line of feeling down every 6 months hit deep for real. Its hard out there but we don't have the choice to give up.
Glad I found this channel. This is exactly the thing I love to watch on KZread. I hope you keep going.

@@LessonsFromAnime proud of you lad, keep it going. Inspirational shit 👊🏽
I love how you took an important life lesson and presented it to us in such a cohesive and high quality manner. Despite watching the anime earlier, I didn't even realize how important that quote Tanaka said was until I watched your video. In general, I absolutely love how you condensed important life lessons from anime into bite-sized videos, it's such a great concept. You're underrated now, but I can definitely see this channel growing big in the future. - a new sub

so glad I found your channel and haikyuu. I love learning, especially mathematics, but I possess the mathematical aptitude of a clam and never really thought I could do it until eighth grade, when I truly started learning what mathematics was. I have no natural talent, and that took me ages to admit to, but when I started watching haikyuu, all my doubts just faded away. I realised that although I might have to go a few extra miles to make it happen and probably still never be able to make it effortless, I could do it! slowly and steadily, I somehow went from "she should stay away from maths" to "she should definitely go for maths" and I know this seems very cringe but that change was phenomenal to me. it made me realise that life's simple - work your hardest, take care of yourself, be kind, br courteous, be responsible and just be grateful, although embodying that spirit is difficult. your channel is very refreshing and uplifting, I wish you lots of happiness and all the best.
Gotta be one of the best scenes in the 4th season Tanaka the goat

There's soooo many to choose from, such an insane arc Haikyuu is my number 1 for sure
This anime has saved me in more ways than one. And finding your channel now seeing you backing it all up is amazing. Looking forward to watching more of your content!
I really needed a reminder of this. I'm at a point where I don't think too much of myself. Haikyuu usually reminds me that I just need a little bit of courage to take that first step, and then the next steps will follow
I am glad your first video was on Tanaka. It's nice to know that what we feel can be conveyed in a medium like this. We feel understood.
I usually try to analyze my failings and ask the question "why?" cause I need to understand it since I don't want to fail again. But that "why" question starts to build up emotions around it and changes into "why is this happening to me? what have I done to deserve this?" It took me so long to realize "why" is such a dangerous question to ask. Now I try to brush it off me and try again, without thinking, without over analyzing it. I try to just do it, and accepting that I can fail more than once Also your channel idea is so uniqe for me, I loved the videos. I don't know if you watched it but Tanaka reminds me of the MC in Sk8 the Infinity with the way they're normal people? They are not "born talented" kinda guys and the way Sk8 the Inf. portrayed it was so real for me that I cried a full hour because of it. Staying confident around people that are more successful than you is so hard for me, especially if I can see that they don't even work as hard as I do. I totally recommend the anime if you haven't watched it, it helped me to realize my worth is not decided by my talent, but by my hardwork.
this is my new motivational channel before going head on to life
Haikyuu is one of my absolute favorite animes for so many reasons. But the strength of its character building is number one.
Seen various videos on this channel, finally decided to subscribe. Well done :D
That cross shot had me yelling I was so hyped the first time I saw it

I wish this show had been around when I was at the end of middle school. I played volleyball back then, but I was never a strong player. I never tried out im high school because I thought there was no way I'd be able to compete at the high school level. The first time I watched the show, I cried, realizing how much I had missed it, but being a senior in high school, it was far too late. Every time I watch it, I wish I had continued playing because maybe I would have never played a game, but I wouldn't be sitting here, not knowing.

@@LessonsFromAnime It should be, there is some truly-valuable food for thought in this video You know, my first time through, I took some issue with your closing assertion that taking those steps makes you "definitely not average." I'm having difficulty putting into words why, maybe it just felt like more of those shallow reassurances that "natural talent doesn't matter" or "you'll get there if you work hard." Those platitudes turned stale on my tongue some time ago, even if they do hold some truth. But, on a second and third time through, I've realized my knee-jerk reaction was misplaced. Being average is a statement of your abilities, that - if the aptitudes of everyone with a skill you value were layed out on a bell curve - you would sit right in the middle of the with most everyone else, unextraordinary. That may even be true, maybe you're even below average. But, if you are someone who can, or rather has pushed past all of the frustration at not being innately talented at what you love, all of that envy for those that are, and continued to uncompromisingly pursue your dreams despite it all; that is an incredibly rare and special thing. To foster that kind of courage despite the seemingly hostile and dispassionate reality of things, that is itself extraordinary and "definitely not average"
nice video and its so good that the video has lyrics, peoples of all world can watch (i'm brazilian)
