📜 FULL SUMMARY
Embracing the Call of Your Inner Self
Imagine you're on a phone call, engaged in a compelling conversation. Suddenly, another call beckons. This new call isn’t just any interruption; it symbolizes the often-ignored voices within us, clamoring for attention-our fears, doubts, and unresolved traumas. This scenario isn’t merely about phone etiquette; it’s a profound metaphor for our internal experiences and the importance of listening to our inner selves.
The Metaphor of Call Waiting
The experience of being pulled away by another call while still mentally lingering on the first conversation adeptly illustrates how we deal with our internal voices. These voices represent parts of ourselves that are seeking integration, craving to be heard, and longing for connection. Regrettably, our instinctual response is to suppress these voices, hoping they won’t disrupt our present reality. However, this only leads to a fragmented existence, where these unattended voices subtly influence our decisions and life path.
The Importance of Acknowledgment
Acknowledging these internal calls is crucial. When we ignore them, we create a split within ourselves, akin to having someone on hold. This split not only distracts us but also prevents us from fully engaging with our lives. Conversely, when we choose to listen, we embark on a journey of healing. The act of listening doesn’t imply mere acknowledgment but involves engaging with compassion and understanding, much like how we would treat a child seeking attention.
Healing Through Listening
The process of healing begins with recognizing and attending to these inner voices. By doing so, we allow ourselves to explore the narratives and traumas that have shaped us. This exploration is not an act of dwelling in the past but a step towards understanding and integration. It’s about holding space for those parts of ourselves that we’ve tried to ignore or suppress. The analogy of a child seeking attention is poignant here; just as a child grows louder when ignored, so do these parts of ourselves. They require our attention, love, and compassion to heal.
Transforming Our Reality
By addressing and integrating these inner voices, we have the opportunity to transform our reality. Instead of being controlled by our past and its accompanying fears and traumas, we can create a new path forward. This doesn’t mean forgetting or dismissing our past experiences but rather using them as a foundation for growth and healing. When we listen to and integrate these aspects of ourselves, we minimize their ability to disrupt our lives, allowing us to be more present and engaged.
A Call to Action
The metaphor of answering a call from our inner self serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of self-awareness and self-care. It encourages us to reflect on the voices within us that we’ve been ignoring or suppressing. By listening to these inner voices, we not only heal ourselves but also pave the way for a more authentic and fulfilling life. This journey of internal exploration and healing is not always easy, but it’s a vital step towards living a life that’s true to ourselves.
As we navigate our daily lives, let us be mindful of the calls from our inner selves. Let us answer these calls with openness and compassion, recognizing that in doing so, we are not only healing ourselves but also creating a more harmonious and integrated existence.
In closing, this metaphorical exploration serves as a powerful testament to the transformative power of listening to our inner voices. It’s a call to action for all of us to engage more deeply with ourselves, to listen to the parts of us that need attention and care, and to embark on the path to healing and wholeness.

Well said! And thanks for making this video I appreciate the time and effort you put into it. I don’t feel comfortable calling myself an artist because it feels fake to me or undeserving. My life experiences mainly from school but definitely not limited to has wired me to believe that I’m a failure and I can’t succeed on my own. I get a lot of phone calls and signs telling me to be creative and chase those wild ideas, dreams whatever you want to call it but I’m an open vessel for it. It’s overwhelming at times but I’ve feel I’ve reached a higher state of consciousness because of it. I’m at the point of self discovery where I know that I’m not a failure and I feel I’ve found my super power and now it’s just of matter harnessing it and creating art through it. I think a lot of us block those calls. I think many of us are scared to take them or are not willing to stay on the line long enough to find one’s true self. And it’s sad. Think about all the artists, writers, musicians, directors, athletes you name it that we wouldn’t have if they never picked up the phone or didn’t stay on the line long enough? So yeah keep answering those calls. Some will be prank calls but some or one of them will be the most important call of your life. And remember be different, be you.

I believe we each have an immense gift, like a present waiting to be opened. I can only speak to my own life, but these gifts must be honed and developed. Starting today with whatever inspires you waters this gift while promoting your unfolding. While we collectively can argue what an artist is or isn’t, what isn’t a question is whether or not we are all creators or creative. When I follow my creativity, I follow my creator self, and I fall into creation with creation. I believe it is here that the artist is born… Many blessings to you dear one! ♥️🙏
