Love the TR6, use mine more than the others in my collection. Proper sports car
The most reliable car I've ever owned, 2nd owner, 200k or 300k (Not sure) miles with triple webers, custom cam shaft and exhaust headers and pipes. Jay Leno's head mechanic did all the work *before* we worked for Jay! My car will easily break 120+ mph! Great sound and power for a light weight car. Fun fun fun!
My mum had one of these when I was young. I remember crossing the Preseli Hills in 1976 or 77 in snow. the car was so light that it was sliding all over the place. Great looking car.
I am a grandpa and my roommate's college car was in fact a TR6. Other guys had Cameros and Chargers that were faster but Gosh it was fun, especially on a country road.
Reminder, always turn the OD off when you stop, otherwise the clutch may slip on 3rd to 4th gear when accelerating away from a stop sign.
