Hello again!!! I’ve given birth to a healthy baby boy about a month ago and only just now getting a hang of being a new mom. It’s very difficult especially being away from my family due to COVID. Thank you for being my support during pregnancy, labour and delivery, and now, a new mother to a chunky baby. Before coming across your channel, I’ve always had to look up many different opinions to come to a conclusion. But you guys have always been concise with providing information to your audience that i actually just go along with whatever you put out 😂. Thank you so much and I hope that God bless you both and your family always.

I gave birth to a baby 4 weeks ago (at 33 weeks) and I agree with you. I’m not a first time mom (she is our 6th, and our oldest is 21 and a new mom herself!) but it’s been almost a decade since I had my last child, and I have really appreciated this channel to brush up on my newborn skills!! Congratulations to you on the birth of your new son!

Thanks so much for watching! 😊 In this video, we discuss what the optimal breastfeeding diet should look like according to scientists. Most importantly, we explain why the optimal breastfeeding diet is not as complicated as many people say it is. It’s actually pretty simple (UNLESS your baby is allergic to a specific food that you eat; but this hardly ever happens)…

Hi there 😊, we don't really have a video which addresses this topic in particular. However, we do have a video on nursing positions: kzread.info/dash/bejne/pYabo6Rro6XThrQ.html We have found that upright positions can help with the problem, particularly if the baby remains upright for 10-15 minutes after the feed. However, the problem will resolve by itself over time as the esophageal sphincter muscles start to develop... And please don't forget to regularly burp your baby: kzread.info/dash/bejne/lGtqtbiYeai_e5M.html By the way: the fact that you also feed your 2 year old does not affect this. So, please don't worry about that 😊 We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

I breast feed my 2 year old sometimes still too but not sure the best way for tandem nursing. I only let him nurse on the right side but let my infant nurse both sides..cause I'm nervous if didn't feed on both I'd loose it in one side..not sure that would really happen.

Hi thanks a lot for ur videos..they are so much helpful for all the wonderful moms out there😍 I gave birth to a healthy baby boy last month and since then I was struggling with breast feeding, latching, low milk supply, pumping etc..till now the situations didn't change😢For 3-4 days after delivery I didn't have milk or colostrum, so we started giving him formula. After that when I produced enough milk he didn't latch properly. As everyone suggested I started pumping 2-3 times daily after feeding him. My problem is that during each pumping I usually get 2-3 ounces of milk that I used to store. But after pumping when I feed my baby I feel like my breasts are empty and my baby also doesn't feel happy at all after feeding😢So since 2days I stopped pumping, my thought is like what is the need of pumping and storing the milk if he is hungry all the time now.But now I think my breast milk supply went more low😢I don't know what to do.. please help me and my baby😢😢

  • @CareAboutLittleOnes

Hi there 😊, thanks so much for your lovely feedback! 😘😘 It makes us very happy to hear it! First of all: CONGRATULATIONS on your baby boy!! 🥰🥰 We hope you are both recovering well from your delivery! Regarding your situation: what you tried was not "wrong"! We know many women who feed their baby first and then they pump because it teaches the body that there is a big demand for milk. However, now that your milk supply is where it needs to be, there may no longer be a reason to pump. All that matters is that your baby receives the milk he needs. The other thing to know is that your breasts never really "stop" producing milk. So, if you pump milk and then later feed your baby again, there should always be enough milk to satisfy baby's needs. Imagine a woman who has twin: in that case, her breasts need to produce double the amount of milk that a mother with a single baby needs to. And yet, she does not run out of milk because her body keeps producing milk all the time. So, if your baby does not seem happy, we would rather look into the latch. Unfortunately, and this is something that we often observe, when a baby was bottle-fed at some point, they often either reject the breast OR they "forget" to latch correctly onto the breast. They start preferring the bottle, often because they find it easier to drink from the bottle. Therefore, we would not worry too much about your milk supply. We would rather look into the latch. Is there a midwife or a breastfeeding consultant near you that you could talk to? It would be great if they could observe one of your feeding sessions and then give you feedback on how to improve the latch (OR tell you if you need to improve it at all)... We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

But when you breastfeed, it is recommended to avoid fish that contains high levels of mercury, such as King mackerel, bigeye tuna, swordfish etc. Mercury can harm the nervous system of the baby... Hi there 😘, unfortunately, this can sometimes happen in babies who are breast- AND bottle-fed.... Here is why: A baby may find it easier to drink from a bottle than from the breast. Because of that, they sometimes start refusing the breast, because they prefer the bottle. We are not gonna lie to you: it's a difficult situation. We had a few cases like this and the only thing that helped those moms was a breastfeeding consultant. Only with their help were they able to "switch back" to breastfeeding. It has a lot to do with establishing a good latch so that your baby finds it easier to remove the milk from your breast. And that's the key: only if your baby continues to drink from your breast, will your body know that it should keep producing milk. Is there a way to see a breastfeeding consultant where you live?

    2 жыл бұрын

Hi there 😊, first of all, as for the cord around the neck: this is not necessarily a problem. You can still have a normal vaginal birth, unless there are complications. But normally, it is not a problem (your doctor can tell you more about your specific case). As for the weight gain: it's difficult because there is not really much you can do. There can be many different reasons why a baby may not gain enough weight. For example, smoking, high blood pressure, infections or because your placenta just in general cannot provide your baby with enough nutrients. The only thing you can do is eat healthy foods so that you get all the micronutrients that your baby needs. And second, you could do the things that we teach in this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/dWtnzaamZJC-eMo.html. Because by increasing the blood flow to the baby, you also make sure that your baby receives nutrients. But that's all you can really do.... We hope this helps! We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby! ❤️

I really feel desperate. I have breastfed two children fully up to 9 and 11 Months. First ten days they don’t react to anything because the digestive system is still so fresh and undeveloped. Then horrific cramps and bloating start with the baby… they can’t settle cant sleep and cry a lot. I HAD TO avoid spices fresh vegetables or any veggise for that matter even fruit. 😢 only and only if I did that they would be peaceful and not in pain. If I ever tried and I did… to eat something like salad or add some onions to something… I would see the consequences in the baby a few hours later. They would be in excruciating pain. This lasted all the way until about 4 Months of age. Later I was able to eat more and kore of variety slowly. None of them have any allergies now that they are older. I know scientifically it should not be but then I guess someone should study those who react indeed. Why so…. I am expecting baby nr three and am terrified of the upcoming bland months of boring food ( i coup literally only eat clean rice or noodles with only salt and some sour cream, potatoes and poultry only salted and cereal ) cows milk ws never a problem.😏 i do know women who eat jalapeno peppers while breastfeeding and their babies don’t mind so this is really upsetting and confusing 😅😢

Hi there, thanks a lot for sharing your experience with us! Rest assured: what you have observed is something many women have observed too. The problem is that scientific studies can only tell us what seems to apply to MOST women. But - normally - it can never tell you that something applies to 100% of all cases. It's just not possible. So, if you have observed this for your first two babies, chances are, you will have the same problem with your third one. But at least now you know what you have to do... 😊 But we totally get you: it is certainly no fun to only focus on boring food 😬😬😬 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and baby no 3!! ❤️

Most babies should not have a problem with spicy ingredients either. However, we regularly come across women who claim just that! We don't yet understand why that is. It could be a cultural thing (f.e. people from India are used to spicy food - so it could be that their babies are less likely to be bothered by spicy foods too). But that's just speculation... But in general, we now generally recommend leaving away spicy food... 😊 We hope this helps! We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

Spicy foods do give babies reflux, "scientific studies" can be not only wrong but it is important to look at the protocols and all the details of that study. Scientific facts are things that can be proven, I eat spicy foods my baby spits up and when I don't he doesn't, that's a fact, it's the food.

Hi there 😊, in general, you are not wrong in what you say. However, there is a fundamental problem that you miss: Scientific studies don't PROVE anything. If you know how science works, then you also know that there is no such thing as a "scientific fact". Scientific studies are conducted within a certain setting, with the help of a certain research design and a certain sample. Even if the study then concludes that A is related to B, it is NOT a proof that A is indeed related to B. We can only say that it SEEMS that A is related to B, however, there is a certain probability of error. So, when we are saying that scientific studies have not found that.... it only means that so far, this is what scientists have found. But it does not mean that, in the near future, there can be another study which comes to opposing conclusions. THIS is how science works. Not perfect, but it's all we have.... Conversely, just because your baby spits up after you ate spicy food, doesn't mean that other women experience the same. You may call that a fact for your personally. However, concluding from one observation that - what you observe - also applies to all other women has nothing to do with science and it is certainly not a fact... We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
