Tampa has a quick pace of life while Sarasota has a more laid-back feel.

If you are into the springs instead of the crowded beaches, the Tampa area is the clear winner.

I've lived in Florida ever since I moved to the U.S. in 1996 from Budapest, Hungary. I started out in Naples, then Ft. Myers, and in 2010 Sarasota. Me and my family absolutely love this town. I think is one of the top 3 places to live in Florida. #sarasota #downtownsarasota #siestakeybeach

Lots of people that visit Sarasota, don't expect this big city atmosphere from a smaller town until they arrive and see for themselves.

Tamps does not have the Dali Museum. It’s in St. Pete…just like the Tampa Bay Rays ;-)

Great video. I travel for work and need many direct flights. Is there an amazing "newer" home community in Sarasota that is "less" than an hour from Tampa airport? I'd use the Sarasota airport as well, but its more expensive and not as many direct flights.

obviously, you have not checked the home prices in Sarasota. On average, they are 40% higher than Tampa area. Don't move there unless you are a senior citizen or have a fat wallet.

What are the best places to move in Florida, especially good school districts?

Sarasota has one of the top school districts in the state. That's why my family choose Sarasota.

Howes the "homeless" situation in Sarasota?

Tampa has better jobs. St. Pete though is better because you can work in Tampa and chiii in St. Pete
