so does the sonus have high clarity? Does it get stuck in busier tracks? does the simgot ea1000 get stuck as well? Been wanting to get another set as I already have the quintet. and also both of them works good in Idol? btw would you mind sharing what eartips work the best on the quintet?

Truth is the Quintet is pretty darn clear already. If you want more then consider getting a quality dongle as it will feed more resolution to your Quintet.

Right now I'm using the tang sancai for the quintets. I've try using the azla sednaearfit xelastics and it doesn't work well. What eartips do you personally use?

@@annoymusi2735 Personally, I found the Quintet a tad bit bright. I would match them with the Final Type E or the Azla Sednafit Max if you wanted more treble reduction.

Yeah it is pretty good tbh!

Already have the EA 500 LM, so don't want the 1000. But I'm thinking about the Quintet. I'm torn between it and the Chopin. Don't know which one is better. The Chopin seems like it might have fitment issues for a lot of folks, but I have big ears and ear canals, so I suspect they'll fit, though I do like the aesthetics of the Quintet a lot better. Some people call it plain and austere. I call it restrained and classy. They can keep the IEMs that look like they have a fruit salad hand painted on the front faceplate.

Quintet can be a good choice as you can try the tonal characteristics of a hybrid design.
