Hahahahaha, no problem!

I just spent the week in Tahoe and rode this trail. It was better than I anticipated. Got increasingly Rocky as you went down and was a ton of fun.

Definitely a fun one.

That was an enjoyable video, thank you! That climb was hideous, remind me of a climb that is on the way to Portal Trail in Moah, Utah. Agree with you 100% the sense of satisfaction I get from climbing is special, even if sometime you got to push the bike.

A hard climb is good for the soul!

Those light conditions look like it added another layer of challenge, this looks like exactly my kind of trail. Gorgeous scenery, lots of pedaling and a good amount of opportunity to session weird, trials-y B lines. Ideal day out.

The lighting can definitely mess with you. It's a pretty short trail altogether, but you can loop it with some other things and make it a really good day.

What a great ride! You do an amazing job with your videos! Such great quality! I was wondering if you can share your microphone settings (what kind of mic u use?). Your voice sounds so clear when you are riding so high quality. Maybe you already did a video on the mic you use? Great job B1KER! Keep doing videos. I always get exited when you release a new video.

I use a Rode NT when doing voiceovers on my computer. When I’m riding it’s just the GoPro with dead cats on the mics.

I had a Tallboy. It was super fun and yes a 29er. But my Goto bike was the Bronson. I’m about to switch some things up though.

I heard the TRT section after climbing Stanford rock TRL is tricky techy

I’m not sure which section that is. But the Taods climb is definitely tough from 89 or Armstrong Saddle.

No, I do IT. But I guess you could say I do work in the Bike Industry because of my channel.

Rob- it shocks me you don’t yet own an e-bike 😆 Me and many of my buddies (who are core industry dudes) have converted. Our acoustic bikes rarely get touched anymore 🤷‍♂️

Maybe he doesn't want to be one of those people that rides ebikes where they aren't allowed. Which includes this trail and many of the other trails in Tahoe.

@@mushieslushie dude, we live in California and primarily ride CA/NV. Class 1 e-bikes are allowed basically everywhere in these parts. Even in the rare zones/trails where they’re technically not allowed, no one enforces it.

To be honest I really like the feeling of accomplishing this stuff on my own energy. I’m not saying I won’t get one, but the really big days just feels different to me when it’s no motor involved. On the other hand, I look forward to getting one for those days we won’t have to coordinate 6 trucks for shuttle runs.

@@mushieslushie I actually haven’t ridden SLT on an e-bike now that I think of it (I rarely get down there these days), but I know some insanely fit SLT semi-pro locals who ride both acoustic + class 1 e-bikes on all those trails. As studies have shown, there is zero difference impact to the trails. As for myself, I almost exclusively ride a private local mtb ranch, local/neighborhood trails (where e-bikes are all allowed) and D-Ville (just because we have a new baby and can’t travel as often or as far these days).

At the end of the trail,how do you get back to the parking area/ start of the trail. You said you can do laps on it. Thank you for the awesome videos.

You pedal around Fallen Leaf Lake. There is one right hand turn you have to make but it’s super easy. I used Trailforks my first time. There are a few places I’ve parked, mostly depending on what else I’m riding. But there are a handful of spots at the bottom of the road that goes up Angora ridge.

Basically right near the start of the angora Ridge trail there are some places to park off the side of the road. After coming down the trail your ride around the lake on a paved road and it leads right back to where you parked. That road doesn't show on trail forks. Or like he said you can park at the top but that's paid parking and you will have to end the ride with the climb.
