Hands down the best enforcer rugby has seen. I've seen him get tackled hard a couple of times but it's rare. I have never seen anyone actually dominate him in a scuffle though.

What team wouldn't want Etzebeth in their side? An absolute beast and mobile with it. Imagine what he'd have been like in the days before multiple cameras when the punches flew freely. Nowadays a punch WILL get you sent off.

I'm a proud kiwi all blacks fan but I gotta say, Eben is just an absolute monster on the field. He's incredibly strong (id say one of the strongest), fearless and just straight badass all around. A wonderful player who supports his team and has their backs in any situation. I wouldn't want to get on his bad side, guy would pick me up like a water glass and throw me through the wall. Just imagine him screening in basketball😳 players would be getting wheeled out on a stretcher 😂😂😂

One bad ass dude...his scuffle with lavanini was amazing

Used to think he was just a hot head who loved to just get involved in fights - like the typical ‘macho’ thing. However when he was given the Springbok captaincy (unless my judgement is out) he seemed to calm down a bit, and his aggression became more controlled. I love how he stands up for his team mates though, but sometimes he does make things ten times worse by steaming in and just grabbing hold of someone 🤣 What a player though. Don’t think I’ve ever seen such a powerhouse. He’s the only guy who I think could manhandle a prime Bakkies Botha, and that’s saying something 🤣 However amongst all that I bet he’s a total gent off the field, and as polite as they come. I loved the clip of him and Alaalatoa sharing a beer in the dressing room after their recent scrap. Big up Eben. Every rugby fan in the world would love you to play for their club/ country!
