We’ve always been highly elite warriors. Best in the world, we’re just incredibly small in numbers cause we are a tiny country (population wise) so we’ve always had to utilize extreme elite quality instead of quantity.

We have to. Since we have a smaller standing army we have to compensate with quality over quantity. Great training program and good gear makes a big difference.

No we weren’t, we just adapt very well.

We are at least not destroying the whole economy of europe. And are military is more focosed to produce some of the worlds most advanced equipment like Stridsvagn 122, Jas 39 gripen E and Visby class corvette. And how many of those 1000 tanks are modern? Most of them are most likely from the cold war. I have nothing against Greece, I love Greece! I've actually been there, on the island of Crete.

And of those "1000" you have about 200 that MAYBE are on par with strv122. The rest is pure old junk (Leo1 and OLD M48 Patton)

@@Daniel-jg8ff You have no idea about the Polish military. Poland never had Leopard I and M48 Patton tanks. Otherwise has Poland with 249 more Leopard tanks than the Swedes with 200 Stridsvagn 122. Poland also has an additional 250 M1 Abrams that will be delivered soon. Poland also has 232 PT-91 of Polish production and 328 modified T-72s. The total of 560 PT-91 and T-72 would be enough to defeat the 200 Stridsvagn 122.

@@GreatPolishWingedHussars What are you talking about? First you mentioned Greece, that hardly is known for their military. No disrespect to them meant. ALL of Greece's tanks except 170 are M48 Patton, Leopard 1 or early Leopard 2 models. As i said, only 170 are Leopard 2A6. Poland has a very good army though and it is continously being modernized. I have always like the polish people. Not to mention i have trained with polish units. Anyhow, your original reply was about Greece, not Poland. Then again, Poland also has their back towards Russia. Sweden is also kind of neighbouring but not in the same way.

Last time this country fight a war was 1814 xD Last time Sweden had an opportunity for war was when Finland calls for help during winter war, and then Norway (his former province) during german invasion. Guess what ? Sweden didn't help either one or the other.

Yes we did! We sent equipment and trained their soldiers we were as neutral as possible to stay out of The war! If you were the prime minister of a country would you enter a war you know for sure that you could not win. And that would just would bring suffer to your people, would you still enter the war?

I agrea do not mess with the Swedish amed forces. This is easy, since to mess with them you have to find them. The later is very hard, they are so few of them that it is close to impossible to find one. There is a trick one can use to find them. At sumer most of them guard the castle in Stockholm. An enemy should therefore simply catch the Swedish Army when guarding the castle.

@@Ehauki Nope they still have only 2,5 Brigades. That is an army of 13 000 men. That is a joke of an army. They plan to grow it to 4,5 brigades. The absolut minimum to sålow down or stop an unvasion in the North is 6 brigades with lots of artellery. A fitting number would be 2 Armourd, 5 Mechanised and five Infantry brigades. To hold on to N Sweden you need 3 Infantery, 1 Armourd and 1 Mechanised Brigade. On top of that you need extra Artellery say altogether 60 mobile guns on top of excisting brigade artellery. As it is today Sweden could be run over in a less than a week. If only the south of Sweden was defended it could hold out for 10 dayes. As of today the Army has to few trucks to even move a Brigade. A 14 brigade Army could hold the N of Sweden and help Finland. A 20 Brigade Army would stop any thought of expansion by Russia.

@@Ehauki I nuläget kan Sverige mobilisera 41 000 soldater. Denna styrka inkluderar 1 300 officerare, 4 700 värnpliktiga och 30 000 hemvärnssoldater med en beslutad bantning till 22 000. Is this the number you are looking for.

Quite a few of the historys most prominent strategists, intelligence and engineers were LGBT. I am a Swedish aviation engineer, over 30 years of experience from design and development of world class military aviation products. I am also gay. My gender or sexuality has no negative impact at all in my ability to design weapons or my ability to defend my country. If something, my sexuality may even strengthen my motivation to defend my country. I am old enough to know how a non including society looks like, the including society is worth defending until the last drop of blood.
