I think part of Ace's reason was greed and ego, because dispite being slower than Airrid he still seemed to have a solid draw time. I would imagine he could gun fight but he was slower than most of the major players, Ace was just to full of himself to realize it.

@@HelwigDorsuoThere’s probably also an element where the rep they’re faking actually gives them an edge. If the other guy thinks he’s fucked going in, he hesitates and then gets shot. It didn’t work here because the guy he was going up against knew for a fact that he was full of shit.

Ace was a good shot, the trick with the horse at the start was incredibly impressive

It's really nice that they got him ready for the coffin free of charge

When he get shot in the hands he sounds like he smells something bad 🤣🤣🤣

For the record he is not the sheriff. If your channel people actually watched the movie you would know that there is no sheriff in that town till the very end. The only sheriff that was even in the movie was father of the main character that was killed by this man in the past. STOP GETTING THINGS WRONG!!!!

How are they talking to each other so clearly without raising their voices. They are like 50 feet apart from each other.

They say that by dint of telling lies, in the end you can no longer distinguish when you tell the truth and when you lie. That's what happened to Hanlon. His fantasies had become true for him and his opponent brought him back to reality.

A better ending to this scene would've been Herod leaving him alive with two damaged hands and saying he wasn't worthy to be killed by him.

Death isn't that scary, but what those people do to the dead is way more terrifying. Only greed to be seen.

That baddie looks like the guy who was in Aliens.

The issue is not that ace is slower, it’s that he claimed to have killed four men that the other man actually killed. It’s like going into a restaurant and telling the owner that YOU are the owner. Maybe you do own a restaurant, but it sure as hell isn’t that one.

Ace really was a good shooter compared to the majority of people in the tournament, but the thing is- he liked to show off and make claims/lies about his shooting skills. And yeah, Herod was overall just faster and better than him.
