Cue - Dropping your Harley is not something that most people like to admit. I've done it twice both times at slow speeds. Knowing that it can happen to even a seasoned rider as yourself should make us all want to practice more! Great video. See you in a few weeks!

Simple drops are nothing to worry about (as long as you didn't do any crazy mods to your bike). There is more risk in failing to train/practice than there are from a simple drop.

Dude! When I was learning the keyhole I dropped it 32 times in 2 hours. Couldn’t move the next day because of doing 32 squats to pick the Road King back up! If you ain’t dropping it, sometimes, you’re not practicing hard enough. I know you remember Ben telling you about practicing to failure! On the other hand if the drops were normal riding and not practicing then I think you already know you didn’t do a proper recovery turn. Great content! Keep it up Que!

Hey Cue, I know exactly what you mean I dropped my bike twice in the same day also, but mine were caused by panicking and grabbing a fist full of front brake at 5 miles an hour and down she went. I think the second one was because I was already "In my Head" lack of confidence and self-doubt. I definitely let that hard day win, but I continue to practice so I can try not to repeat those mistakes

U r a humble man. I like how ur perspective on motorcycle handling is through practice and knowing ur weak point and try to redo the mistakes that happened to get better. The only thing I will add is you do not turn the same all the time which you try to. Depends on the occasions some you would lean, and others you would steer with straight turn by doing head check. Also timing plays a major roles. When you are thinking to execute something you are losing timing so it’s best to go slow and go easy and not hard. Hard riding are for less thinking and more aggressive riding tactics without minding your surroundings. Cops rides like that all the time. Why they can do a hard lean left or right because they expect everyone to stop or avoid them. We normal riders that doesn’t have sirens or cops uniforms we have to turn different and be cautious.

@@RidingandWrenching I’ve been on the road on two wheels too damn long. I don’t practice anymore because I considered my riding near excellence. I don’t ride the way I was taught but use common sense when I ride. And I also don’t doubt myself. I can’t remember the last time I dropped my bikes. My 2022 FLHP was sold this year and had it a little over a year or so with no drop. My new 2023 FLTRK the same in over the past 3 months and the 2k miles I’ve put in there. Give or take both bikes average 9k miles in general and about 2 years or less. That means I made about a little over 5k+ mileage a year riding my bikes. I can only ride one bike at a time. I even have some great riding videos on my channel.
