Don't Let Someone Else Invent Your Million Dollar Idea
Stephen and Andrew how not taking action can result in your idea being invented by someone else. It happens to creative people all the time, even Stephen Key. Don't let fear stop you from getting going.

I'm soaking up all the info you guys have put out there! Thank you!😉👍
Sometimes inventors come out with the same idea...and sometimes ideas get stolen by company reps who decide to be unscrupulous. I jave submitted several inventions to two of the as seen on tv reps that were interviewed on this show and who gave their emails on this show and haven't heard anything back yet - yes or no...it has only been a week but I have been robbed of my creative ideas before and it is making me feel a little nervous.
Wow! Thanks guys, for helping me get off the couch with my idea!!!
Such a situation has happened many timeams with me. And that's really a painstaking. I just shout loud to get out of the pain. My head aches for a month, when I see other people idea getting into market even after I had an idea before them. Oh! God That's really painful!
Stephen Key's KEY'S! 'wow!' you must be kicking yourself? Another Great vid. Thanks .
I've watched so many of your videos (thank you for the value you provide), I purchased One Simple Idea, I purchased another One Simple Idea, because I bought the wrong book the first time. My new yellow book is supposed to arrive tomorrow. I won't be able to afford your services until March, so I'm hoping you'll answer this one simple question now - before I sign up with inventRight, do I need to get a PPA first? And can I share all of my ideas at once, or do you work on only one at a time?

Hi Joyful Eclectic Woman. We're very happy to answer these questions! Thank you for supporting us by purchasing a copy of "One Simple Idea." No, we don't recommend filing a PPA first - we have an affordable program to help you called "SmartIP." And we want you to hit the ground running as soon as you do. We can help you determine which of your ideas you should apply the steps to first; assessing which of your ideas has the most licensing potential is also part of the program. Don't hesitate to give us a call; our customer service team is very friendly. Phone: +1 (650) 793-1477 Toll Free: +1 (800) 701-7993 Email: support@inventright.com

@@inventRight Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I look forward to becoming a member of inventRight. I have so many ideas bottled up inside me and I can't wait to see the physical manifestations of all of them. I am devouring your videos, and with the help of another One Simple Idea book that's supposed to arrive today, I will feel more prepared to present my ideas to you in March 2023! This journey is already so exciting!
Thanks SO MUCH Stephen for sharing your moment of wearing the Dunce cap (remember grade school) as so have I. I have multiple ideas that I have run across in retail stores! Dozens of them! Products that we even sketched out! Man it is maddening- maddening with self! No more excuses. Getting off the couch in the morning. You stirred my juices again tonight. And I really need this kick in the pa'tootie right now. Thanks for sharing. Will be in touch!

Plush lady.... Please get off the couch... License those ideas!
Brilliant Video guys. On Chapter 6 right now. Stephen I will put an epic review once I'v finished. I haven't forgot. I will save up all I can for mentoring system. This happens all the time. The snuggy, microphone reflector filter, laptop bed stand, multi grip pull up bar, vaporizer pen, portable small compressor mic, mini midi keyboard, beats headphones, wish i knew licensing back then. The thing now is for the sell sheet, writing up my own contracts and how to know if a company in China is legit to earn royalties from. I have an idea on improvement parts to add to a device. How do I license that part and is there a way to license this part to multiple companies in the same field? Highly recommend the book people. Go buy it. I bought the Mr Miyagi book ( Stephen Keys One Simple Idea ) and Daniel Sans book ( 4 hour work week Tim Ferriss ). Off course I got to read the Mr Miyagi book first.

great video! thx!
One of your best 'inventright tv shows' to date. So many of us have ideas/inventions and NEVER do anything with them !! Go out and get em' tigers (lol) ! Just do it (as Michael Jordan/Nike told us)...and how ironic that Steven himself made a small fortune with a simple change to a M. Jordan endorsed product (kids basketball hoop)...comeee onnnn. If you have an idea, follow the Inventright method, don't look back, listen to your creative gut and DO IT !! ...regret stinks (hmmm, I've got a bunch of ideas I haven't followed up on) - time to get to work - THANKS GUYS :) - Jeff C.

How would we go about joining your class? Is there a cost associated? If so, how much? Also, When you refer to typing a provisional patent, how simple is it? Is there a certain structure or is it as easy as "My idea is to make a circular plastic container, and call it a cup."

TJ, feel free to check out out website for more information about joining our program. Here is a link: www.inventright.com/let-us-show-you-how-to-successfully-bring-your-idea-to-market My business partner, Andrew Krauss, can answer any questions you have about the program. Writing a provisional patent isn't extremely difficult, and that is one of the things we teach in our coaching program.
What if a company says, “no”, and then they go ahead and produce it on their own?

No doubt that sometimes happens. Your job is to convince them it's easier to work with you than against. That's just business.
So for every Idea I should file a provisional application?

Great videos guys, Your Directory of Companies Looking For Ideas is offline, any idea when this will be working again? THANKS!
I can't find you guys step by step video on how to protect my idea without spending major bucks. Please share a link. And keep up the great motivation videos.
How much money does the average independent product developer make???
Yep thats me 😂
Loved the book and love your videos. Can you go into a little more detail on how use your sell sheet and how you present it to prospective companies? Do you hold back some information? Do you just make a you tube presentation and send them a private link? I would assume that if you did this you would verbally tell them your items on the sell sheet. This is something that seems to be holding me back to pitching companies. I want it to look professional, but I don't want to spend lots of money and time doing it. Please let me know your thoughts on this.

Thanks. I actually did a little research and came across some material you did quite some years ago. I would like to get your take on how much things have changed and how you would use available programs and tools. I am working on a couple of deals solo , but will most likely join your mentor program after that. I have tons of ideas and am looking to make a lifestyle out of what you are offering. 30 years is too long to hold on to ideas that need to have the chance to live or die in the real world.

Stockton Kinsey Fantastic!, sell sheets one of your best-selling tools. Make sure you have a one line benefit statement at the top. Make it emotional, make it powerful. For great design work I would recommend someone on E lance.. Don't pay over $80. Also include a video, show the problem ,show the solution in one minute, nothing fancy.

Thanks ...Great advice. I was going to get my sell sheet tightened up on Microsoft Word/Publisher. Then I was actually thinking of going on Fivrr.com, but I think your advice about Elance is more sound so I am going to try and go that way first. I don't have a proto type, but I can draw it. Loved your video about not getting bogged down in stuff like this until you have actual interest. I am using some easy animation software called Crazytalk to demonstrate my point. Once I get that down I will put it on youtube and send out a private link to it. In case you didn't notice all of the things I am about to attempt I learned from your book and/or Video. Kudos to you both. thanks again.

I would have bought some Stephen keys😂lol
Hi Steven. At 3:10 you say the key idea would have been really simple to protect. Could you elaborate? Do you mean, at least initially, that a ppa would have given you enough protection?
In Bhagavad Gita (Song of God)Supreme Absolute Lord Krishna says that an actor is one who takes action. We will come closer to know thyself when do our duty, the idea is a gift of direction. Yet while acting we should act as a way of glorification with no expectation of outcome, knowing we've acted our best. The Sweet Lord says He will be the doer. Things will always workout done for the the highest good of the individual which is the highest good for all. Thanks for sharing you've got breaking lethargy. Then you can always write a book about how to be a success.
Literally my own family told me to forget inventing and stick to a 9-5 job. Slave mentality at its best

Hi Irma! Contact us so we can talk to you about prototyping strategies: inventright.com/contact-us-today.
i watched ALL your videos, still cant understand something: when they actually ASK YOU for a REAL prototype they can touch, you simply CANT make it because no technical knowledge, no machinery, etc, so are they just fine with a sales sheet picture?? is it that easy?? i get lost at that step...thanks.
thanks for the motivation guys! question...how important is the quality of the provisional application? I wrote one but it seems kind of unprofessional. is there someone who should proof read it or spice up? just curious...thanks again!

Ross, thank you for watching! Provisional applications are important, and they should be written correctly. Some inventor friendly patent attorneys will review for a very low fee. Please investigate this before filing. We do teach classes in that, but that’s a different avenue.
Hey I am not the one disliking, I give thumbs up, even though I ask tough questions. So, is it reasonable to think a person could accumulate a few hundred thousand dollars licensing a product? I know it depends on a lot of variables, but I am just wondering how many students rake in tens of thousands? Hundreds of thousands? Millions?

OMG, Stephen. you gotta stop smacking and swallowing after a pause. We can hear it......
Sounds to me like you are justifying people stealing other peoples ideas and call it ok? What happened to do not steal! Nevertheless those who do such things will never get anywhere. Temperarily perhaps! But the consequence they will face will be beyond what they can bear and it will hunt them down unless they make it right!

@@inventRight Idon't think so. Stealing is taking someone elses work and claiming it to be theirs. That's what my commend was based on earlier.
