Let me share quickly, my favourite line and I'm going to take action today: Invest in yourself, if you don't Invest yourself, why do people invest in you, Growth never happens automatically, you have to grow intentionally , I've decided to grow intentionally. Thank you so much for the life changing podcast & now it's my turn to take action, application, and execution.

I have to ask, since right now I'm a doer, a worker, how do I shift my mindset to a leader and still get my job done while I look to leadership opportunities?

The first step is to accept that you're a leader regardless of where you are in the organisation. John Maxwell talks of a 360 degree leader who is able to influence upwards, across and downwards. Hope that helps

Perspective! If you consider yourself a worker and a doer, ask yourself this, are you able to accomplish those actions without having your hand held while receiving guidance, direction and feedback? If the answer is yes then I’d say you are a leader since the first person you lead is you! When you do that well, you influence others who see you and want to follow you. Next, the opportunity will come where someone will want your attributes to spread to others. Keep leading!

@itskrox-johnochuro I kind of like to think that I can be a leader, but I so don't want to seem arrogant in my attitude. Today I went to have a,talk with my senior director about the leadership mindset, and he confirmed some of the things that Mr Maxwell talks about. Thank you for your input. I'll take all the help I can get.
