when you think about it, Kix was the last clone trooper alive, and he was in the 501st. So in a way, the 501st managed to outlive all the other legions

Almost all the legions lasted through the empire. Just because they have normal people instead of clones doesn’t mean they’re not that legion still. The coruscant guard probably lasted the longest since the Empire lasted past the civil war, just with it’s military dissolved by the new republic. So, coruscant guard all the way

The 501st does has some darkest and sadness deaths but they are true soldiers and a lot of them I've been killed but some of them Care for each other but some of them don't.

What exactly was Echo’s plan? Did he know the debris would go directly into the cannon, or did he think the cannon wasn’t going to shoot the stationary spaceship and allow him to get into it and escape?

Echo was probably hoping to shoot the Droid from the cannon and use the ship to blow them up, prevent them from being able to shoot them down anymore

And if stuck as a clone, be a clone commander. If that slot is unavailable, Captain will do but note there are possibilities of excruciatingly painful death and dismemberment.

I would still join the 501st Legion just because most of my favorite clones come from this legion.

501st had the most diverse story for the clones. like one who was frozen and survived for decades after the others were dead, one who prematurely executed order 66, one who got his armour stolen by a bounty hunter, one who kinda resisted order 66 and then got his chip removed, one who was silenced for knowing too much, one who essentially enacted a coup in order 66, they were the ones who raided the jedi temple, they had a temporary leader who betrayed them, their main general was one of the most unique jedi generals, they fought a sith all in all pretty unique story

and even tho these instances were shared with the 212th: friendly fire incident and breaching the citadel

501st because, if you survive up to Episode III, you might be in the attack on the Jedi temple so at least you’re a little safer on Coruscant and if you survive that then you’ll become part of Vader’s Fist (pretty awesome squad to be in) which means you’ll likely survive until being decommissioned to go retire in the outer rim. Though you will see the destruction of Kamino which is maybe worse....

The 501st Is honestly Overrated and Horrible in War. There are so many better Legions and Battalions out there, But everone has a Favourite and This is the Most Common. Just have to Accept it
