I like the detail when red points that the tv character make the appointment but ends up back at home in the next episode just like the three guys

Just letting you know, the last remanence of the ancient ones deep below the earth is just an over-complicated way of describing oil. Also. Remember those Easter eggs and Yellow’s dream, they’ll come in handy the next episode.

16:54 Red guy already moved away in the original series. As for anyone who watched the original, it did not turn out very well as Duck was killed by the end of the fifth episode, and yellow guy was the only one left.

@@orimoreau3138 personally I don't really agree with matpat's video, I think don't hug me I'm scared is written to have multiple theme's outside of "child show satire" which is what his theory video's kind of focus on, the original show's ideas, themes, and writing changes over the years of it's production, so I wouldn't really consider Matpats videos to be "the end all be all" explanation of DHMIS's story, as he doesn't really take those concepts into account.

@@orimoreau3138 I stopped following MatPat's videos a long time ago. I just feel he has a tendency to treat his own theories like their facts. No offense on him or anyone, but I feel that people should form their own opinions on the show.

I feel like the bit where he imagines his new town is meant to replicate the art style of Postman Pat, an old British show that followed... unsurprisingly, a postman in a quaint English village not unlike this one.
