Plastic waste in general is bad for various reasons, but with straws it's the shape more than the material that is the problem. Like plastic rings that hold together a 6 pack of soda or beer. No plastic should be in the ocean, but the shapes of certain plastics make them even worse. There's a video here on KZread of a straw being pulled out of a sea turtles nose. This wasn't one of the better points of the song, but didn't ruin it. It's just accentuated by the song being about not being stupid and he clearly didn't understand the straw thing. It's like calling somebody dumb in a comment section and getting the spelling wrong, like dum, hahah. Be ready to be informed about how you shouldn't call people dumb if you can't spell. Peace.

Actually, it is quite stupid. I don't even believe in abortion but this line is just stupid. No one says a heartbeat isn't life on earth. Sperm is also life on earth yet I am sure Tom has disposed of a condom with sperms in it lol. We are long past the point of sperm, bacteria, or the basic fetal functions (heartbeat as he put it) being recognised as life. They have been recognised as life from a very very very long time. If he had said we treat a discovery of bacteria on Mars as monumental whereas life here is shunned or disregarded, I can sort of see it being an okay to good line. But this really isn't.

When we tried to tell people back in the day that this is a really bad idea, parents would get really mad and accuse of playing favorites. I am a Christian, I am a 63 yr old white lady, I totally LOVE this young man and his message. I have now listened to more of his rap and I am not a huge rap fan, but I think he could help this world and hopefully reach the young people who have been brainwashed into being offended by anyone who doesn't' agree with them!! Sadly people are stupid and common sense is offensive to a lot of people these days. I grew up in a house where if I said or did somthing stupid I was told an made aware and my ass was beat.... if I was doing something dangerous I wasn't stopped from doing it, If I got hurt from doing it lesson learned and then I got my ass beat as well lol. Raised my kids the same way to once I let my 4 year old stick a fork in the outlet. He never did that shit again believe that. 110v was gonna kill him but it darn sure taught him not to do it again.
