It was Egypt who occupied Gaza. Israel took it back when they defeated Egypt, then handed it to Palestinians. Israel recovered West Bank from Jordan. Technically, Israel took nothing from Palestine. Palestine doesn't have a definitive territory in the first place.

In 2005 they gave it to the PLO, and in 2006 Hamas won the elections. Note that Israel offered to Egypt to take the Gaza Strip in 1979 when they signed a peace agreement but they refused. @@redpillmicky

When Israel pulled out of Gaza, it invited the PA leadership in Gaza to work to build a prosperous society. The vision was to make it into Singapore. Israel was ready and willing to invest to work with them. and give it their full support The World Bank offered massive incentives. Israel even left an agricultural infrastructure intact, including dozens of greenhouses and clients who were buying the produce. They tore them down within a day screaming death to Israel. Within weeks they had elections, The vast majority voted for Hamas, who proceeded to murder the PA opposition, dragging their bodies through the streets. They threw homosexuals off the top of high-rise buildings. Within days they were firing projectiles at Israel. Israel immediately and rightfully imposed a blockade. Egypt joined the blockade. The rest is history. Israel has basically put up with constant rocket fire for over 17 years. It has allowed Gazans to work in Israel. It is terribly tragic that children and other innocents are now dying in number. October 7th changed the equation, That's what they wanted. Now they are whining and crying about it.

They ethnically cleansed it of its Jewish population, and then in 1950 Illegally annexed it. In 1971 Jordan expelled the PLO by military means killing close to 4,000 Palestinians.. There's a much bigger picture here. There was no Palestinian nationalism or even a clear Pal identity before 1962. It was engineered and supported by the Soviet Union. Before that, the non-Jewish residents of the area referred to themselves as Arabs,

Y are they inviting the PA when Hamas won the election? Y not invite all parties? No such vision existed. Israel had already imposed a siege on Gaza and has always blockaded Gaza. The Settlers also destroyed things as they left.

Yes he is. Knowledgeable, seen active service, knows first hand about the horrors of war. A skilled negotiator who understands what behaviours prohibit any chance of progress being made. He's entirely correct in saying that the protestors have lost sympathy for their cause by knowingly including pro Hamas extremist elements. Using Armistice Day was nothing less than a provocation, fingers up to the British, we've got the right and fk you lot if you don't like it cos we're doing it. It was a very bad move on the organisers' part. It must have been known, surely that going ahead would seriously anger the majority of decent British people. Begs two questions. Who funds and controls these protests? Why did no one amongst the hundreds of thousands who participated, query the decision?
