This stupid! You don't know what your talking about! People luv air fryers and use them every day for Breakfast to Dinner! Einstein! Subscribe? Yea right! My new built-in oven is also a convection oven air fryer, and it cooks faster and better than any "old oven" I have ever owned, and it does everything my old oven does but faster!

My baby boy and my daughter ( daughter being my son's girlfriend who I love as my very very own ) has gotten an air fryer. They love it. I am on the fence right now I am happy with my Foreman and Waffle/Sandwich maker. In fact, last couple times made meat, I experimented with the sandwich plates on the waffle/sandwich maker just to see it accurately lets me know when meat is done to save me from guessing. Still going to use Foreman for meats that is too big or too thick for waffle iron. I might at one point get an air fryer, just not yet. I'll think about it after my boyfriend and I get a new place.

I noticed you stayed well away from the power consumption question. Air fryers typically use at least only a quarter of the power or your oven. Trials show over an 8 minute cook in an air fryer, the element is only on for about 90 seconds. Just cook a whole chicken in an air fryer and the flavors will astound you. A 4 and a half pound chicken cooks in mine in only 45 minutes. I have a whole playlist devoted to Air Fryer recipes on my channel and still growing. Please do proper research guys.

Why air fry a whole Chicken... when you can buy a Rotisserie cooker, which produces MUCH better results? I got mine used at a thrift shop, for like $12. Cooks a large chicken in a single hour. Tender, Juicy, chicken... with a Crispy and lightly charred exterior. I just pre-season the chicken, let the seasoning sit on it for an hour (or overnight), then pop it in the Rotisserie. Perfect Flavorful Chicken, every single time, without any fuss. Its hard to match meat that has been self-basting in its own caramelized juices, for an entire Hour. Air Dried chicken, isnt likely going to match that level of flavor, color, and texture. The only thing better, might be a Smoker. Of course, thats an out-door only situation, and takes a Lot more time.

For a couple who is wanting to save money, space and time, an air fryer is ABSOLUTELY a good idea. An air fryer is a micro convection oven so if you're cooking small batches, it can do it in half the time as a regular oven at a much lesser cost as it will be using electricity for a fraction of that time.

You can see that most of the stuff i listed are basic breakfast/dinner dishes which can be consumed daily. In the morning i could make grilled cheese regularly using the stove or i can throw it in the air fryer and get ready while it's cooking. I mostly do it in the air fryer because it's a time saver.

My wife and I are seniors, live by ourselves and tend to eat smaller proportions, therefore our air fryer that we received as a Christmas gift is the "ticket" as far as We are concerned. I love baking and if making bread or a birfhday cake for one of the family, I use the convection oven. However, I have seen recipes for air fryer bread none of which I have tried yet, but believe me - I will. Air friers (or whatever name you want to tag one with) certainly have their place in the kitchen and I do nnot feel they deserve the "Do not buy" label because there are those that actually like them. I expect that if a pole was conducted, the yays would certainly out number the nays. So, if you feel that an air fryer is for you, by all means, buy one. Just finished baking my favorite tea biscuit recipe (double recipe) with no changes in ingredients to adapt to air frying. They turned out perfectly - medium browned tops and light well done inside. Yes, I had to bake them in two batches as the basket would not hold 12 biscuits. Oh Dear!

I finally got convinced after visiting my cousin's place for Christmas and they had the most perfect fried bites I've ever had, all made in the air fryer. I love baked and fried vegetables as a side but I hate frying, so an air fryer is perfect for me. We are also a house of 3 who don't eat much so size isn't an issue, in fact most were too big. if you want even less cleaning up, buy a silicone insert for the basket. I've got a dual basket and dual silicone inserts. All you have to do is take out the inserts and put them in the dishwasher. The basket stays clean!! It makes no diffference to the way the item is cooked.

I absolutely love my air fryer, that I purchased last month! It makes the best homemade fries, as well as Char Siu. I have a frying station set-up in my garage (to prevent odor, oil residual, & heat issues inside my home). I will take my air fryer to the same station, in the heat of summer. One of my favorite kitchen purchases.

Our Intant Vortex is plenty big enough for 4 adults. I'm cooking a full small chicken right now. My young people use it several times a day. For me the unintended bonus is that they must clean it to use it again later instead of stacking up numerous pans and dishes in the sink.

I've had an air fryer oven, and not only does it not cook as well as my Ninja -- cleanup with an air fryer oven is a beast. The Ninja MAX XL is a breeze to clean! I could not disagree more with this video, except for the fact that while my Ninja is great for me and my hubby, and I can cook a 5-lb. whole chicken in it, for a family of 4, it probably won't be big enough to accommodate all that food.

Great advantage of airfryer is a removable basket. After preparing food you don't have to dive inside the oven to clean it - you just put removable basket into dishwasher. Usually it has lower power consumption as well - due size. Big minus - we have to replace it every 3-4 yeas we use airfryer frequently - almost every day. At this moment we have third actifry (great!) and we are going to buy bit bigger (5l) airfryer from one of cheap store - will be on promotion on European LIDL and ALDI (one bit more expensive but with WiFi, cant decide which one we go).

It has 3 trays and way less energy consumption than my oven. Also quicker than my oven was. It only cost $500 including the work and shelving to install it. So glad I did it! This video is scraping the bottom of the barrel for reasons not to get one LOL there’s really no comparison if I’m honest. You just need to buy the right size and have the space for it.

I thought a lot if to buy an air fryer and in the end I replaced my old microwave with a new panasonic one with inverter; it has microwave, grill and convection. So I saved space and it can make bigger portions than an air fryer.😍 The crisper pans are also very useful. For convection it uses 1300 watt, just like an air fryer.

You can't take a regular oven out onto the balcony or terrace to cook food if you live in a hot climate. Outside it won't be overheating the house or fighting the air conditioning. I put a cake tin with paper liner and wire-grill in mine to reduce the size; and make cleaning easier. I have a second air fryer which spends the whole summer outside. The regular oven still gets used perhaps twice a month?, but there is no pretence with regard the oven being competitive with the air fryer which is used for most main meals. I'm in Perth Western Australia, about the same latitude (transposed to the northern hemisphere) as Marrakesh in Morocco, or Tijuana in Mexico. And in summer we don't get humid hot weather, we get very dry hot weather. Best wishes to all.

    1. convection oven effect versus air fryer effect is worlds apart. I use philip xxl air fryer super crispy and definitely a lot better than a convection oven, maybe because the hot air is built stronger? i dont know why but its just a lot better and faster too! Dont be mistaken saying they are the same . you should try yourself. 2. Air fryer is smaller which is an advantage, less messy counter top and convenient for a small family. 3. it is more expensive because its better quality when getting the frying effect and for most people it is affordable.

The Air Frier i first made french fries and boxed frozen Fried shrimp, then i started making chicken wings. Only problem i had to make them 3 times because basket is small. Started msking country style pork ribs, then tried hamburgers. Lots of great air fry recipes on the internet and youtube. I started making air fry Cheesecake, excellent and yummy. Also slice boneless chicken breast and make chicken fingers, chicken fried steak (cube steak). Air fried bacon. So now i just broke down and bought the Ninja Foodi Smart XL Pro Air Oven DT250. My air fryer was cheap £45 from Cosco, fast Cooke's a frozen chocolate croissant to perfection in 11 mins from start-up, where my fan oven takes over 35 mins 20 to get to temp and 15 to cook. My air fryer can cook a single item or small portion very quickly and efficiently which saves over 75% of the electricity, by measurement taken using a new smart meter. It is very small and portable, so I can take it in my caravan. It does a better job than my oven for crispy crunch. I could go on, and on with a single sided argument. But that would be a biassed argument, which does not inform, just divides. Hope your next video looks at both sides.

I can't do without my airfryer. I can heat up store bought naan breads for a curry or heat up some croissants for breakfast in only 4 minutes, without preheating. It's cheaper than using a oven. Cooks in a fraction of the time. Cooks a gammon joint in 40mins. 20 mins each side. I make homemade crispy chicken tenders that can rival KFC's own in 12 minutes and it can make jerky quicker than an oven, which would take at least 5 hours.

I have 3 Airfryers of different capacity 3L - 25L. One 16 in 1 multi cooker, a rotisserie function box style and a mini for quick little jobs. Most used appliances in the kitchen besides the refrigerator. I also have a regular oven that has never been used for anything other than to store frying pans and baking accessories in.

Whoever wrote this junk needs to go to Ninja and spend the day with them. For starters, you are saving a fortune on your electric bill, as the air fryers are far more economical to run than a large oven. Ninja, as other manufacturers, do smaller ovens that sit on your worktops. These again are far more cost-effective than a normal oven and the one I have, the Ninja Foodi 10-1 oven, has 10 cooking options available. Yes, it has the bake function, so you can bake delicious cakes and buns in less time than conventional ovens, saving you money. Don't take any notice of the fools who put this ridiculous video up.

Air fryers rule. My Philips is used so often. Really a time saver. Chuck fish sticks in and don't worry about standing in front of a stove or frying in oil etc. And no smells. We have an oven, and use the air fryer so much as the oven takes more power, harder to clean, makes the whole house hot, pain to use. My kids can even use the air fryer.

Countless online reviews and video reviews all concur ; the large "slide out rack/shelf style" air fryer ovens are difficult to clean vs the basket/drawer styles. The wide open space of the larger ovens allows grease to splatter all over the inside including the inside roof, corners etc. The slide out basket style is more "contained," area & able to add parchment paper liners all making the basket style easier to clean. When an appliance is a beast to clean, I gradually stop using it, thus more waste money. When an oven is not kept squeaky clean, it accumulates a sticky grease and makes more smoke that effects the taste of the food. YUCK !

@@rathernotsayrathernotsay9829 I bought an air fryer on Amazon that was stainless steel however the drip tray contained teflon. (I spent a lot of time researching air fryers that were BPA and teflon free!) I figured that I could just use aluminum foil on the bottom instead. It got very high ratings but before I could use it I received an email from the company offering $30.00 if I gave it a high rating. I sent it back and gave it a 1 star rating because of that. I purchased it partly because of that rating! I notified Amazon about it but after several months they haven't done anything. Believe it or not, I received 2 more emails from the company offering more money to give a favorable rating - as high as $50.00 toward a gift card. The lesson I learned if it's too good to true it probably is. Decided not to buy any air fryer!! I don't trust these companies and nothing is made to last nowadays!

My first one became faulty after about three years, it was only a cheap one, so I bought another one (same brand and model). I Still love it! Boom, dinner done in less 20min. My favourite thing to make in it is chicken schnitzel and potato gems for 15-20min then I make a sub with the schnitzel and voila, an awesome cafe-worthy lunch that is soooo easy and soooo delicious 🤤 our air fryer gets used far more than any other appliance in our house except maybe the microwave because we eat a lot of leftovers.
