I was just 13 in 1973 when I bought a cassette of the BeeGees greatest hits in one of my trips down in Singapore. I was gobsmacked when practically every song in there was a gem. I literally wore out the tape playing it over and over again. I could not believe anyone could write and perform such beautiful songs.

we were very-very young in 1973... life was still ahead us...

My dad would sing this song even while my parents were still together, when it was falling apart, and after the divorce. Thank God my parents are still alive, I love the them and they both inspire me to sing my broken heart out.

I've come to listen to this song again because our favorite Korean singer Kim Ho Joong recommended this song this morning. I was in 1st year High school when this song came out, and that was back in late 60's. It's now 2019 and the song just keeps getting better. Old but gold. One of those songs that endured the test of time...

This is why The Bee Gees has been my favorite of all. On top of very sweet melodies, most of their LYRICS are very philosophical. They penetrate your heart and soul. "You're the mirror of MY SOUL, so take mo out of my hole...." Brrrrr.......

This is the first time I've heard this in its entirety and it's one of the most beautiful country records I've ever heard. It's also the only country song by the Bee Gees I can name; too bad they didn't have more hits like this one. For some reason, this song got almost no airplay in the USA.

This morning I woke up singing this song and my late husband's face and I remembered him.. I lost him on the 21 Jan 2019.. but it feels like yesterday.. he was and still is the love of my life.. I miss him somuch.. the day he past on was the worst day of my life!!
