Parametric Object Polygon Selection Texture Mask with Redshift
Yes you heard that right! Make a polygon selection on a parametric object and use it as a mask.
Being able to make polygon selection mask is relatively new inside redshift render but in C4D since the beginning. Being able make polygon selections texture masks on parametric objects is also relatively new, which is amazing! Watch to learn how!

youtube deleted my comment. you can add a polygon selection tag to parametric object then use a field in the tag to select polygons in the parametric object. Since it's field based there's no worry about what happens when you adjust the parameters of the object.

While this is true the result are different. The only parameters that effect the results are ones related to segments. Thanks for your feedback.
