Investing in Mutual Funds can be a good choice since they are funded with after tax dollars, your contributions can grow tax-free over time. When you withdraw money from your Mutual Funds in retirement, you won’t have to pay tax on it, which will help you keep more of your hard-earned money. I retired with 5 million dollars

In my opinion, it was much easier investing back in the 60s but it’s a lot trickier now, those making consistent profit in these times are professionals reason I’ve been using an advisor for the past 5 years to consistently build my portfolio in preparations for retirement.

Indeed, I would say this is the best strategy if you are below 30 years. At this age you can take some more risk for high returns
My brother nicely explained. Clearly explained ….keep making more videos. 👍
No man this is not the best strategy ... if you are in your 20s or 30s ... go for small cap and mid cap even if its high risky but portfolio manager are way smarter than us so they choose small cap companies very wisely - so this is best way to get high returns

True… Small & midcap is High risk and High return with Lower risk if your investment horizon was long 20-30 years

Maybe in a bull market what you said will work. But also remember only a handful of small-cap and mid-cap funds were able to beat the nifty index based on historical data(I know you may say compare with small cap index but those indexes are very easy to beat and we are talking about large vs small here). In bear markets, small-cap funds will eat away your XIRR. Giving you worse results than a large cap due to huge drawdowns. The problem here is you are thinking small caps are guaranteed to give you profit. And nothing is guaranteed and actually, it's just a gamble. Focus on reducing losses not increasing returns, that's the golden rule and a large cap fund helps you to do that, even when you are young.

Sir agar koi long term ke liye invest kar rha hai aur apna pura paisa equity me laga rha hai For example Large cap- 50℅ Mid cap- 20 Small cap- 30℅ To every year hum rebalance kaise kar sakte hain Please make a video on fund rebalancing and fund switch in case of underform
Instead of paying high AUM on large cap fund buy index funds coz over long horizon of 10-20 years 85-90% of large cap/ bluechip funds fail to beat index fund returns . Also the expense ratio is much lower on index fund.

@@jadhav6419 large cap fund selects from a basket of top 100 companies listed on nse to invest. While index is top 50 companies on nse(nifty) n top 30 in BSE(sensex) . So index fund invest in those 50/30 companies as per weightage assigned to them.

Finally this analysts confuse, so that we choose wrong and contact them for right
If we allocate the funds in this way then actual outcome would be a high allocation in large cap stocks in the portfolio because mid cap, small cap, multi cap funds would also invest in large cap stocks…so actual allocation in large cap stocks would be 50-60% or even more. I think one should check what is the percentage of allocated in each category for a particular fund and do the maths to check what would be the real allocation in each category of stocks then decide how much to invest in each category of funds…this is particularly more important for young investors who can take more risks & with long time horizon of 10 yrs or more the risk gets minimised to a great extent.

This is a good generic view of mutual fund distribution, you have described here. Simple to the point and easy to understand. Thank you.
