Always keep the camera n gears in a decicator... All boils down to ur camera equipment u have.. as said by Manish Saxena silica gel is good I agree alongside at home , I keep my camera n gear inside the case.. its costly setup but I being a dedicated camera person it's worth it.. Also I think I would like to share if u have a decicator like me.. coming home keep everything back to decicator separately... Transferring footage to HD putting battery to charge n checking up for next day or keep the charging if u have a day off..😁

Maneeshji you have not emphasized here whether it's OK to keep the memory card in the camera if the camera is not used frequently, the reason I'm asking is regular removing and slotting it back in the card slot can damage the card slot eject mechanism ? Your reply will be highly appreciated. Also I'm a hobbyist and am using a fixed lens camera due to fear of dust and fungus on the sensor and lens , though I still have my film slr cameras and lenses. Your reply will be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
