Ingredients:
100 g red lentils, dried
60 ml olive oil
2 onions
2 tbsp turmeric
2 tbsp Сurry
1 tbsp garam masala
1 tsp sweet paprika
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp cinnamon
20 g ginger
1.3 L tomato passata
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 tbsp honey
1 tinned chickpeas
400 ml coconut milk
- Soak the red lentils in water for 30 minutes
- Heat the spices over a low heat
- Sauté the onions with the spices over a low heat until the onions are soft
- Cook for 30 minutes over a medium heat
- Add the coconut milk and simmer for 5 minutes
