Because its an international language i guess 🤔 everyone studies or has studied english in class. And, at least where i studied, teachers were always saying how important is to know english. But i can see that in France it isn't that big of a deal🤔 which is not bad of course but interesting 🤣

@@therealmethatyoudontknow I agree, we learn it at school too but I think the whole mindset of expecting people to be able to communicate in a language than is not an official language of the country they live in (especially without doing prior research) is anglocentric and kinda naive. To explain more about why people dont like to speak english in France, our education system, for sure is teaching too many stuff in my opinion, but not to be comfortable with making mistakes. when we learn a language in class we are afraid to make mistakes out loud. so we try not to speak too much in another language. Moreover, people can make fun of you (yeah i swear its true) if you try to imitate the american or british accent and can see you as being snob or arrogant in the worst case. When you grow up, that stupid thing tends to disappear but some people still not evolve from it. So yeah, french language it is hahahahaha GOOD LUCK

Life in France is frustrating even if you have an advanced level in French. On top of that, French companies prioritise natives no matter how excellent your prior professional experiences are. Will it worth it? She knows french level A1 & A2. Actually I am wondering about the placement after the course coz taking an education loan and if don't get placed means will be very difficult. As a strangers you should definitely have some strong kind of diploma (or work experience in a "educated fields", for example if you are a store seller it might be VERY difficult) or be ready to be paid really low (in unrewarding jobs like cleaning employees, etc) compared to the cost of living. Unlike many countries we almost never work in English, except very rare situation. Maybe try to reach an Indian company settled in France before actually coming here ?

I'd say something around €70-80k overall, to be on the absolute safe side. Course fee around €40k, living expenses €1k*24 so €24k, total being €64k, and then add €10-15k for travel and other miscellaneous things that can come up in life during a 2-3 year period.

Depends on what you call being fluent. Which French institute ? Attending good French colleges such as Grandes Écoles is an open door to find some well-paid jobs on-site. But you should expect some reluctance if you're planning to work for a very French company, as English won't be an everyday language. Though it can also be an asset for a worldwide company, as you can highlight your skills in English, French but also your mother tongue.

@@ritviksapra1368 ok great. If I had to give you an advice, pay close attention to the certifications of each diploma, especially when it comes to computer science. The only way to fulfill an engineering degree is to attend a school which has been accredited by the CTI.
