Glad to see you back! Definitely one of my top channels to watch for Type R content! I just installed a caruse design aero flap for the same look as your carbon wing. The EPR sounds like a better deal! Looking forward to see the changes after the p600 install. Would love to see differences in the spooly and “blow off” noises with the upgrade! Quite honestly, that’s my favorite part after people make big turbo upgrades and intake upgrades, the sound!!

Hey man, good to see you back on here. A few things come to mind, CTR stuff: high airflow front grill, maybe some high performance driving classes and videos of your experience, other experiences with the car. Truck stuff: why TRX over Raptor and what's the quality of the dodge?

A very similar story to share you with my FK8/aftermarket lip experience. ('18 FK8 lowered with Evasive Lip/Splitter) Driving down shitty Dallas roads I come across an unavoidable pothole (nearby traffic) and the car bottoms out. I pullover to see it basically ripped in half with a giant slice in the middle. My sidemarkers popped out, front grill garnish popped out, luckily the clips didn't break so I was able to snap everything back in, the splitter and lip both snapped on impact. Still bolted from the sides to the car but hanging in the middle scraping. I had some tape in the car so I did some quick DIY just to see if I can get it back on the road to get home. Hit 50+ mph on the highway and it snapped off again, this time throwing random shards of broken carbon & bits everywhere. Immediately pulled over on the side of the highway. 4pm rush hour on Dallas Toll roads... nearest tow trick would've been a few hours away. Decided to just destroy the lip completely bc it was already in 2 pieces and yanked it off its sideclips. The bumper mesh grill was now connected to nothing and also hanging loose to the ground. Had recently installed a dashcam in the car with a 12ft USB cable so used that to tether the mesh grill to rest of the bumper and secured it just go get home. Parked it for 3 months as I thought about how I just wasted 3k on some damn dressup shit which is now in pieces. Went back to OEM and just came across this video! That chassis splitter is a must have for me.

I think Im gonna need that chassis splitter cause of the added hp Im on atm and even more after my tune with Daniel Butler this Sunday. Btw I just replaced my Conti extreme contact DW06 285/35/18 on my Volk time attacks with the Falcon RT660 275/35/18s square. These hook a hell of alot better and actually have more contact patch than the Conti’s. You’ll get what you want, you’re a smart guy, just be patient and it’s all about timing in the housing market.

Just like your Type R videos, I'd watch all your TRX videos!

I like the new flaps better than the old ones and you can also paint the shiny screws👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Same problem with car too, I have modified pumper , after broken, you can add 2 pieces metal U shape inside, help bumper more strong , hope help

I'd like to mention that if you buy a splitter like APR with the rods, don't install them on the front bumper because over time it will pull it a part. Racebred is prob the best splitter atm and I'm going to swap to that soon

Same issue happened to my front lip. I haven’t fixed it yet. Honda dealership put zip lock ties and called it a day. I want to fix it like you did because im planning on putting the mugen lip over the oem lip.

For mudflaps I recommend the ones from “ZL1 add ons” super sleek and cover about the same as the ones you just installed.

This happened to me at 140 tucked the whole lip im since fixed the bumper with a two part glue and making aluminum c brackets i glued on as well then i made a hard mount and re did my spliter and used rod ties threw the actual chassis mount braket i made

Only downside to Texas is the Property Taxes...Here in AZ the property tax on a 2 million dollar home is about $13,500 per year....The taxes on a 2 million dollar home in Texas is $41,870 per year

So far It's been incredibly reliable....Just make sure to use a reputable tuner

Do a Methanol fuel upgrade. If it worth it or not.

I just finished installing the PRL 600 turbo yesterday. After attaching the down pipe to the turbo there was no way the mounting brackets down where the DP and front pipe connect would attach to the DP.

This happened to me with the my bumper with a Mugen lip :(

RockBlokz are superior to RallyArmor, IMO. I absolutely hate the flappiness of RallyArmor flaps. Subaru community has their dongers up over RallyArmors for some reason 😂 I thought about the Race MAF but I’m still stock turbo… but it looks like I can run it with Hondata at least

@@TORQToolbox I had a wrap shop fuck up only the top of my bumper they quoted me 1100 just the paint the top. Maybe it's a area thing idk. Seems too cheap. I'd had to buy a bumper and paint on my si wasn't even close to that too

Camaro content is kind of hit or miss. KZread viewers mostly like Vettes, Mustangs or Lambos. The Camaros are unfortunately left out unless you have some outrageous build, or it’s lady driven. Maybe once the car was done, you would’ve seen the views, but like you said, who knows how long that would take. I understand completely even though I’m a Camaro guy 🥲

I personally have nothing against car enthusiasts running replica brands but I wouldn’t run reps myself. Mugen, Varis, Spoon, etc.(Japanese brands) don’t out source their manufacturing process to a factory. Those Japanese brands RnD and manufacturing process are all done in house which is generally at a small shop in Japan. If you compare authentic to replica brands, generally the authentic parts fitment and quality will be significantly better than reps.

This is why "real" splitters are not supposed to attach to the bumper. They attach to the underside of the car.
