People could have stole the sketches for many reasons. Since they haven't showed up on eBay or ETSY or any site like that, i'm assuming it wasn't to make money. OMORI is a hand drawn game, meaning the sketches were scanned and edited digitally on Photoshop to make the final desired asset. Those sketches are essentially original one of a kind cels that fans would pay hundreds, if not, THOUSANDS of dollars for just to keep in their home framed. I even bought 5 animation cels from Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog because having these sketches that were used to create our favorite media is a cool thing to have. TLDR; it wasn't for money, it was just to have as a cool thing to keep. Not defending them, but I see why they did it

I'll admit, I did buy one of these.. they were $26 usd when I got mine so the price bumped up for the last ones.. It arrived and is legit. I only got it early cause the plushies will sell out super quick on release. I was lucky to get a sprout mole plush when it sold out in 2-3 mins. I will be buying (if I can) the Omori one and maybe another. I really do apologize to Omocat and the team.. I have been buying merch from them for years before Omori so have always supported them, was really shit of me to get the Kel plush from the scumbag I guess I was just worried about him selling out.. I think those 48 Kels were the last and same with those 2 Aubs so no more scamming.

Yeah I did the same thing, but with Mari and it wasn’t to get them early. All of the plushes had sold out in fractions of a second. And I desperately wanted to baby and love Mari and totally not Ayo the pizza here her. So I gave in and bought a Mari for 70$ on EBay :/ Thankfully, after a few months went by, I was able to get my hands on a legitimate Sprout mole plush, a legit something plush keychain, and a legitimate Hero, Auby, Kel, Omori, and Bagel. I’ve also been supporting Omo for a while. I probably have spent more than 500$ on their merchandise. But I feel stupid for buying from what was likely a scumbag.

At least I can understand why these scummy sellers did what they did. Not justified by any means, but it's still a reason. But the people buying from them, why? Like I understand the hype and all that, but not only is this probably illegal, but you're literally getting a lower quality product for a possibly higher price just because you can't wait like a week to buy them legitimately :/

Hey, random viewer here to answer a couple of questions. 1) Omocat does have international shipping the last time I checked. So you should be able to get it shipped to your country. 2)The plushies will presumably be only for pre-order on the 14th, so it would take some time to ship. Regardless, the Omocat shop website said that it's about 2-12 weeks to deliver any order. I hope this helped.
